Yes, and the circumstances surrounding the Pence pick sound like he would have rather gone with Christie. If his hand could be forced like this, imagine what would happen when the real operators start leaning on him.
Part of the problem is that whatever Trump says cannot be believed because it is often contradictory to what he has said previously, sometimes in the same interview. But now we have a guy Pence who is saying things like he would pass the TPP to find out what's in it. How is that any different from what exists now?
The programming is continuing as always, no matter who gets elected. When someone says they refuse to look at something, based on where it came from, that's because of the programming. I posted some relatively neutral comments in the DNC thread, and there are people jumping on it like i was going to go out and start campaigning for them. When you automatically dismiss everything coming from one side of it, that's how they know they have you, because then you are receptive to whatever BS coming from the other side.
I think we can safely assume if Trumppence got elected, Pence would be the one pulling the strings. Unlike other candidates, there have been reports directly from his inner circle that this looks to be the case:
