I can say that after only two minutes, I can't take anymore of the video and stills of dozens of different random holes in the ground.

Seriously, I have been slightly interested in this since it was on Art Bell, but they show a bunch of different holes. Do they ever show a camera going into the correct hole?
Actually I heard there were disputes whether anyone actually knows where the hole is.

Holy $#@!! Why the hell are you guys so uptight about one stupid video? It's no better or worse than hundreds of "unexplained phenomenon" shows aired on TV over the years. I'd never heard of this "Mel's Hole," but I HAVE heard of Art Bell so I figured maybe somebody else had heard about it. Most likely just another yarn spun by some nutcase, but no worse than innumerable tales about Big Foot, the Bermuda Triangle, the Loch Ness Monster and on and on. Lighten up, will ya?

Sorry if it came across like I am uptight. I tried to be light hearted, but I did get excited about seeing drone footage flying into Mel's hole and was disappointed with the video, not you posting the video. I probably had greater expectations than what I should have when viewing a video about something like this.

And for my part I may have overreacted a bit. Apologies for that. And I agree with you on the drone bit. I was hoping to see that too. But overall, I did still find the vid interesting and entertaining, and was really hoping that somebody around here could add some pertinent info. Like I said, I'd never heard of "Mel's Hole" and I get a kick out of these kinds of mysteries. Would get an even bigger kick if one of these damn videos or TV shows actually DID explain the damn things tho!

This story was related to Art Bell, in the 90s, by a caller. I was really into it back then but it ended up looking like a hoax and nobody could ever find the alleged hole. That said, there are some scary holes (the geographic kind) and it seems the most I've seen are in Russia.

In 2002 Danke ( going by Red Elk now) lead a large expedition to Mels saying ad been tere many times from 1961 to 2002 but could not find it
