Tommy Tuberville calls Democraps a Satanic cult

It's about time someone said it. I get sick of the pussy footing around and sugar coating.

Alabama Republican U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville had a stark warning for the approximately 100 Utah GOP delegates who crowded into a Bluffdale warehouse to hear him speak on Friday afternoon: Malevolent supernatural forces are working to undermine America.

“I’ve traveled all over the country — all 50 states — I’ve been in good places and bad places. The one thing I saw, we are losing our kids to a satanic cult,” Tuberville, who traveled to Utah to campaign for GOP U.S. Senate candidate Trent Staggs, warned.

Brandishing an upside-down pocket Constitution, Tuberville said the 2024 election wasn’t Republican vs. Democrat but “anti-American vs. American.”

“We’ve lost our moral values across the country. We’ve got to get back to the Constitution, and we have got to get back to the Bible. We’ve got to get God back in our country,” Tuberville said. “There’s not one Democrat that can tell you they stand up for God.”

“We’ve lost our Department of Justice. In most of the country, we don’t have a criminal justice system anymore. Nobody goes to jail, unless you’re an innocent person that really loves this country, then they’ll put you in jail,” Tuberville said. “We have never overcome a cult like we’re dealing with right now.”

During a brief interview with The Salt Lake Tribune following his speech, Tuberville doubled down when asked if his references to a satanic cult were bourne from political zeal.

“They’ve basically taken God out of everything that we’re doing. I don’t know any other way to express it other than it’s some kind of cult that they’re trying to push on our kids and all Americans,” Tubervill said. “We have got to get back to our moral values. If we can’t get back to that and let the Democrats continue to push this cult on us and take God away from our country, we’re going to have huge problems.”

My two daughters and I were gang-raped by some of the Newcomers. It landed us in the hospital for 3 weeks as several bones were broken. I don't blame them, it was a sexual emergency and I wasn't about to go all white privilege and deny them the release they needed, especially after being stuck in a hotel for months. I see the Newcomers as family now. They are on our side and will help us stop Trump. It is a small price to pay. Anything but Trump.

While that may be true, the GOP also takes part in the Satanic cult.

Yeah, this. It's not conservatives pushing butt plugs on third graders and hormones and surgery for mentally ill pervs.

Trent Staggs is running for Senate in Utah to replace Romney. If elected, he will be in our top 3 best Senators in the Senate - Rand Paul, of course, Mike Lee and Trent Staggs. Whether he is better (very possible..) or worse than Mike Lee is yet to be seen. But that is 2 out of 3 of our best Senators from the state of Utah, which I hope will help make up for Romney in the long run..

Staggs is currently Mayor of Riverton, UT. He made waves back during COVID when he ordered local police not to enforce ANY COVID mandates. He's also very good on foreign policy and leans heavily libertarian and to the Constitution.

Staggs was the only one running against Romney for the Senate seat before Romney bowed out voluntarily. Now there are a dozen others running against him.

However, I think he may win the nomination. I am almost certain he will be on the ballot in May, pending his performance at the Utah Republican Convention of delegates in April. Based on some polling I have seen from delegates, I think there is a strong chance he will win first place at the convention. This will guarantee he will be on the ballot in the primary. He needs 40% to get on the ballot, so he doesn't have to get first place..

I was at a town hall a few days ago with him and Matt Gaetz. It was at a packed high school auditorium and when Staggs asked who in the crowd was a state delegate, it looked like nearly half the audience (including myself) raised their hand.

The other way to get on the ballot is from signatures, however there are many in the grassroots of the Republican Party who are trying to change that so candidates can only be nominated to the ballot at the convention, not by signatures. The argument is that signature gathering is expensive, so candidates can easily get ballot access simply by spending a lot of money.

That said, this is an important message for Utah. Salt Lake City is woke as $#@!.. it's worse than California, except maybe San Francisco or something.. I've seen WAY more transgender people and woke rainbow flags visiting family there than I've seen my whole life living in progressive areas in California.. and most of the Republicans in those areas have no backbone. They just want to be polite and accepting. You go out to the rural areas and it's a completely different story..

Thanks for that info @dannno . I'd never heard of Staggs before. Was the town hall you went one in California?

No, it was in Riverton. I moved to Utah over a year ago, but not the woke part, I'm in a very conservative area. If you read my post carefully, I'm also a state delegate. I still consider myself a Californian tho... not changing my location. I dunno if I'll ever move back, we'll see.. but the conservatives here are happy to have me cuz SLC is a nightmare and the state could easily go purple in the next 5-10 years.

I think there's a correlation between corrupt and spiritually bereft religion and backlash in the other extreme. There's a reddit sub, r/exmormon and it's full of trannies and other screwed up people. I think the corruption and social abominations in the Catholic church is why Ireland went off the deep end, too.

I dunno, most of the state outside of SLC is pretty good.. I would even say pretty libertarian. It's mostly the city that has the huge problems. Marilyn Manson was from the bible belt, so maybe more strict religions do produce a more extreme rebelliousness in some cases.. but the Mormons are a lot different now than they used to be and it's becoming a problem. They are so nice and accepting of outsiders, but they used to have very high standards for themselves. Now they are accepting to a fault, even among members. They say it's ok to be LGBTQ and be Mormon, you just can't act on it, for example.. that didn't used to be a thing.

They also allow tattoos and piercings now (besides female single ear piercings), I guess they don't recommend it, but they don't do a lot to discourage it, they say if you want tattoos or piercings you should consider the costs, but if you really want to do it then pray about it. They used to be the fastest growing religion in the world by % in the 90s, I think since then they have started to shrink in numbers. That's part of why they have lowered standards..

There is also legitimate debate over whether Utah is a sanctuary state for illegals, which is becoming a huge problem. Illegals know Utah is a friendly state for them to come to.

I see Mormonism as a cult and think it screws with people's heads. Apologies if you are Mormon but I was raised Catholic which essentially Satanic so there's that.

The Mormons have a strong connection with Mexico so no surprise they'd be a sanctuary location for illegals.

I'm not religious but I think for the most part it instills good values and builds strong communities, that's been my experience. Some people get screwed up from pretty much every religion. Born-again protestants seemed more cultish to me growing up, but they probably overall had a positive impact compared to being non-religious. My biggest issue with people who are not religious is that so many end up worshiping the government, vote leftist, push cultural marxism and are anti-families.

The vast majority of people here are against Utah being a sanctuary state, but the problem is Mormons are taught to be so kind and accepting that it can lead to leftist tendencies - the reason being that you aren't really supposed to discuss politics at church, so people confuse the teachings of being kind with government mandating they can take your money and give it to other people rather than being personally charitable. On the other hand, Mormons believe that the Constitution is a sacred document that was heavily influenced by God, so for the most part people seem to get it.

I agree with your assessment about the impact that religion - and I'll say Christianity - has on society. That said, it's all of the corruptions and perversions of the various churches that turned people away with some of them becoming completely spawn of their father below. Mormonism has strong similarities to Judaism and Freemasonry and lots of weirdo beliefs, almost like Scientology (the husband getting his planet being an example). When it comes to holding true to the teachings of Christ I'd say the churches closest to that are in the middle east, where it all began.

If you're referring to conservative voters I agree, but behind the scenes GOP politicians support all that.
