Why is Greenland's homicide rate so high?

Not just a high homicide rate, but also the worlds highest suicide rate.
However, the high suicide rate can partly be attributed to the fact that approximately 89% of Greenland’s population are Inuits and high suicide rates are common amongst Inuit people even in Canada and Alaska.
But how about the murder rate?
You may be intrigued and expecting a very interesting answer so I am apologising in advance for disappointing you.
The reason why the suicide and homicide rate is so high is because of the fact that it has such a small population that even a single murder would boost up the homicide rate.
With a population of just 56000, even a single murder/suicide would boost up the homicide/suicide rate to higher than most developed, western nations.
The highest homicide rate it has had in the past 15 years was 30% but even this attributed to only 16 murders; this is still quite a lot but if we zoomed the 30% out on the large scale, it would be WAY, WAY above what is expected.
That being said however, the murder rate is still A BIT higher than it should be for such a small nation due to some unknown reason, even if we discount the fact that most of it is as a result of statistical error.
Maybe it’s the viking genes…..
