General Petraeus’ address preempted by student protest

YouTube - Students Protest at General Petraeus Address

The "USA USA USA" chanting almost made me vomit at @1:00
"Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces."-Étienne de La Boétie

    These students are awesome!

Nvm some speech there was retarded and emotional. Social justice? Continuously bringing up the university in some kind of reverence? Gah.

Don't these students realize that Nobel Peace Prize winner Obama is president now? There's no need to protest the wars anymore.

    (Good for them)

    Agreed.

Although I don't necessarily agree with the tactic, that was encouraging.

So many strategically placed students, never seen protests timed like this.

    EDIT:
Following the youtube link, came across this another student interruptions at UC Irvine today of Israeli ambassodor. 11 students arrested there, lot of agitation. What are the chances of such similar protests on same day:
