The answer is lack of enthusiasm. These were two deeply unpopular candidates. Democrats rallied around Biden to get rid of Trump, they did not get behind Harris in the same way, she had exremely poor approval polling.
I still have seen no proof of widespread fraud in 2020. It's been litigated to death, it just didn't happen.
I think he's going to win. I just voted for him for the first time. It was a combination of Harris's complete incompetence, the horrible LP candidate and RFK's endorsement pushed me over the edge. If I could be persuaded, I think a lot more like me will. Orange man is still a reprehensible individual, but the country will be fine if he wins.
Trump has historically always overperformed the polling. So if that remains the case, he is headed for a convincing win. I'm not really thrilled about another 4 years of him, but I think everything will be fine for the country.
They do blame Trump and there are a lot of Puerto Ricans in PA. I'm not sure of the exact numbers but places in places like Reading and Allentown they may even be a majority by now. It may not matter in the end as they probably were not Republicans anyway.
Didn't the thing bite somebody? Isn't it S.O.P to kill animals that bite people and check for rabies? Sorry but I put people before animals. If the thing bit me I would want it killed and checked out too.
It's a good idea, but nowhere near specific enough. This announcement could be anything. It could range from lowering the cost of a loaf of bread by a few cents to eliminating income tax, to more handouts. It could be good or bad. Show us specifics.
Those tiny margins matter, because Trump has always over performed his polling by several points. Probably because he is so repulsive personally that people won't admit to pollsters they are voting for him. So my point is that if the pollsters are reporting a small percentage of a point lead for Trump, it's probably a several point lead.
Somebody before me put a catalytic converter on the car for reasons unknown. Probably to pass emissions insspection in another state. You can't hear or smell a thing from the engine. I kind of like that actually.
But anyway, weed smoke stinks, I don't see the problem with asking users to keep it inside their homes. You can't drink alcohol in public in Florida, so you shouldn't be able to smoke weed either.
I doubt it. I'm sure he will be more interested in petty revenge against those he feels have slighted him. Some people will probably end up in prison that might not totally deserve it. But the economy will probably be ok, the wars will end and not much else will happen. The guy is morally repugnant to me, but his first term was fairly boring and normal overall. I guess that is the best we can hope for.
I'm going to vote for it. I really hope if/when it passes that DeSantis does something to keep it inside people's homes. I agree with what DeSantis says, we shouldn't have to smell it walking down the street.
I think the whole thing will be a big nothing. Trump is clearly on track to win. The leftys will loot and burn a few walmarts and complain online but nothing serious will happen. Trump's second presidency will be a lot like his first. A lot of big talk, but no real action. At least the overseas wars will end.
No, I'm saying that the numbers don't matter anymore. That can't be fixed. All that matters is the purchasing power ratios, all somebody like Trump needs to do is keep people able to buy food, housing and transportation by whatever means necesary and they will be a popular president. The US is never going to have sound money ever agian. That ship sailed.
You just have to let go of the idea that the numbers mean anything and the debt will ever be paid back. Once you grasp that concept, everything I posted make perfect sense. All that really matters anymore is purchasing power, if people can buy food and housing everything is ok. It doesn't matter anymore if they buy it with a 10 trillion dollar federal reserve note. We have already passed the point of no return for fixing the national debt.
Honestly at this point the national debt is just a made up imaginary number. It doesn't matter what that number is anymore. It's never going to be paid down again. What matters is that people have buying power to get homes and food with whatever number is necessary.
