At Nellis Air Force Base last week, pilots were gathered around a different kind of runway. That's because the southern Nevada post, home to one of the most advanced air combat programs in the service, made the controversial decision to host its first-ever drag queen show. To the amusement of America's enemies, some of our most skilled servicemen and women spent their Thursday night "discover the significance of drag in the LGBT+ community" at a base club -- a lesson sure to please their transgender activist-in-chief. Welcome to the Biden military: you can't have a Bible on the table, but you can have heels in your footlocker. An Air Force veteran posted a picture of the digital flyer over the weekend, which read, "DRAG-U-NELLIS" and "CLASS IS IN SESSION" surrounded by pictures of Coco Montrese, Makena Knight, and Alexis Mateo. "I guess the airmen at Nellis have completely mastered air and ground combat, so they can relax with an event that has grown men in dresses twerking; very cool!" he tweeted. When Breitbart asked for comment, Nellis officials seemed almost proud of the fact that they were hosting this kind of gathering. They confirmed that, yes, the 99th Air Base Wing held the event and explained that it was sponsored by a private organization. But the spokesperson insisted that it was important to "provid an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the history and significance of drag performance art within the LGBT+ community." Inclusivity, the official went on, "is essential to the morale, cohesion, and readiness of the military. Nellis Air Force Base is committed to providing and championing an environment that is characterized by equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion." No doubt our mastery of the catwalk will strike terror in the hearts of Iran and China, where leaders must be looking on with glee at this administration's social preoccupations. According to the base website, Nellis is where pilots undergo "the most demanding... air combat training in the country." North Korea will be relieved to know that this sophisticated training has taken a backseat to nights of transgender frolicking. But then, that's all this administration has had on its radar since taking over. Like Barack Obama, Biden has never seen our troops as anything but a force for social change. Of course, the irony is that while the military defends drag queen acts on military installations, they aren't extending Christians troops the same tolerance. At least two active-duty service members -- Lt. Colonel Matthew Lohmeire and Chaplain Andrew Calvert -- have been fired or suspended in the last few weeks for daring to talk openly about the Pentagon's new policies. "My Republican colleagues and I hear regularly from active duty and retired service members that even holding conservative values is now enough to endanger a service member's military career," Rep. Mike Rogers (Ala.) told Politico. He and his GOP colleagues are racing to put together legislation that would combat the wave of targeting and censorship. In the meantime, conservatives watch helplessly as the proud warfighting ethos that Donald Trump restored is replaced with a circus of LGBT activism. Just ask yourself: when was the last time you read a headline about the military that actually had to do with national defense? Instead, we're talking about climate change, extremism "stand downs," critical race theory, rainbow flags, and maternity flight suits. The Defense Department, NRO's John Rossomando warns, is a case study in "misplaced priorities rooted in myths." It's a woke military focused on politics, not "lethality and readiness," one former undersecretary of Defense under George H.W. Bush argued. "It will excel in virtue signaling and fail at winning battles..." Including the one for the heart and soul of America's proud fighting force. https://www.frc.org/updatearticle/20210622/biden-military

I dunno about the OP. But I hate how bad Rand did. I wouldn't mind DeSantis being ahead of Rand. But Tim Scott? Tom Cotton? Mike Pompeo? Kristi Noem? And without the Rand takedown of Fauci the GOP would still be the "anti science fringe." No love from that? That's really the biggest story of the year and he gets no mileage? :( And I like Tim Scott. I'm okay with Kristi Noem. (I can't stand Pompeo and I despise Tom Cotton).

The pathologist in this interview that Danke posted mentioned the COVID vaccine possibly having a contagious effect. And yet this was predicted about future vaccines back in 2017. Hmmm.... https://www.popsci.com/contagious-vaccine-virus/ The vaccines we have today are pretty incredible. They’ve eradicated smallpox, purged rubella from the Americas, and save millions of people each year from dying of diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, and measles. When enough people get vaccinated, infectious diseases can’t spread easily and everyone benefits from herd immunity. But it’s hard to reach enough people for this to happen, especially in areas with poor public health infrastructure. So scientists are taking a leaf from the virus playbook. They’re devising vaccines and antiviral therapies that can spread from host to host. These transmissible vaccines will likely first be used in animals that carry diseases that can infect people. Some may use a weakened version of the virus, or attach a piece of the pathogen to a benign virus. Other treatments are aimed at people who are already infected and will prey on the virus dwelling in their cells.

Scientific consensus = oxymoron. It's funny that the same people who say "We have to shut down schools because we don't know the long term risk of catching COVID even if the kids recover from it" are perfectly fine with ignoring the long term unknown risks of an experimental vaccine. Mind = blown. I was on a family conference call and we were praying for a cousin who, even though he had recovered from COVID, took the vaccine and was having severe brain fog. I pointed out that those who had recovered from COVID didn't need to take the vaccine based on a recent study. One of my aunt's replied "Where do you find that study?" I said "I'll text it to you." She was like "Well I just trust Dr. Fauci." Seriously? God help us!

*sigh* It seems Rand has gotten little mileage out of nearly single handedly destroying the Fauci mystique. He beat Donald Trump Jr. and Mike Pence at least.

That's not what I said. But let me ask you straight up. Are you against the 1964 civil rights act yes or no? You've not come across as libertarian but rather contrarian. But maybe I misread you. The official CDC recommendations which shut down the country as most governors followed them. It makes perfect business sense for a company, whether it agreed with vaccine mandates or not, to say "I don't want to be shut down by California again so I'll put in a vaccine mandate. Better to be safe than sorry." Just because you claim something doesn't exist doesn't make you right. There were federally encouraged lockdowns in most states.

Greyson (19), a student at Ohio State University, received the Pf. v—ine in May despite having contracted coro— last year. A lifelong athlete, accustomed to running 15+ miles a day, his afternoons are now filled with hospital visits, medical testing (MRI, EKGs, ECHO, blood draws) and expensive stem cell therapy treatments. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• His mother Marie Follmer, expressing regret: "He didn't want to do it. I thought it was best to get us back to normal. We are now facing a dangerous new normal in which my son has felt close to death, and no one can help him. He screams in pain, and feels like he's having a heart attack, and his veins are about to explode. I thought I was doing the right thing and I was wrong. I have felt so guilty about scheduling him for that damn thing, but I can't take it back. Had I known the risk, and if the state wasn't making it almost a social pressure to get the v—ine, I wouldn't have done it, especially since he had it last year and built some natural immunity. I've been told now by doctors that we shouldn't have done it.

You didn't pay attention. With being net importers their dependence on the dollar is killing them. We are edging towards hyperinflation. Even average Americans are seeing this. As long as you can buy or sell with it, it's a currency.

All you have to do is look at the link in my sig to see the context of your own words. But for mean the context is irrelevant. There was absolutely no justification for Trump to do martial law. None whatsoever. A communist justifies martial law for the same reason you did, which is for some unnamed greater good. Maybe. I'm not convinced but okay. Tyranny is defined by what a tyrant does. Like instituting martial law in a time of relative peace. (Like the entire time Trump was president). If a group of people, like the Native Americans or the early Christian church, wants to have communal control of land and/or the means of production, there's nothing wrong with that. The early Christian church never forced anyone to join nor prevented anyone from leaving nor did they even force anyone to sell their land and donate it to the church. Everyone just did that (shock) voluntarily. If you took that EXACT same model and changed it from voluntary to "The people were forced to do it at the point of a spear" you would, just by that one change, go from a beautiful story of church cooperation to a horrible statist-communist nightmare. But you can't allow yourself to see this obvious truth for some reason.

Straw man argument. I didn't say it wasn't a restriction. I said they weren't equivalent. In this case we are talking about a restriction meant to counteract another government restriction. You know, like the 1964 Civil Right Act, which put restrictions on private business, countered the decades of government and KKK enforced segregation? And before you say "I thought you were against the 1964 Civil Rights Act", realize you are talking to the wrong person. Right. And most cruise lines originate in, you guessed it, Florida. So Florida's action had the effect of repealing a federally encouraged mandate. The feds haven't said there has to be a vaccine passport, but they have certainly pushed the hell out of the idea. It's been the steady federal propaganda drumbeat that is what caused the lockdowns in the first place. This despite the fact that Iceland had fewer per capita COVID deaths than any other industrialized country without doing lockdowns or mask mandates.
