Lots of drama this past week with the LNC, LPNH, and basically the entire LP. LNC Chair has resigned and decided to use woke terms and tactics by calling the people he doesn't agree with "toxic." The Mises Caucus appears to be taking some names in their bid to try and steer the LP in a stronger direction and cut out some of the filth we saw with Jorgensen and the greater party pandering to BLM, etc.

Yes, and I agree with Osan to be quite honest. However, isn't the Mises Caucus trying to turn that around by taking the LP over and using Ron Paul as the primary bedrock moving forward? That was my understanding. I think there may be something there for those who want to remain "politically active" FWIW.

Um, but isn't CRT teaching everyone that white people's melanin levels makes them more violent? I'm seeing a trend lately showing us the exact opposite of that. What could have been said to start beating up on an elderly person? If an elderly black, latino, or asian called me something I'd probably just laugh and say "ok old timer" and move along. It'd take something very bad for me to start beating up an old person. But hey, reading some of the comments on the Twitter thread, this lady was "definitely" a Karen just by the look of her face (cough, skin color) and she deserved it because the Amazon workers are heroes.

Easy, chief... Let's not go down this road because you are assuming a LOT. I don't disagree with any of your premises, but isn't it possible that the upcoming Chinese empire can be a lot worse than the American? And countries prefer doing business with China because they have a massive labor force willing to work for just about anything (not the strongest argument you can bring to the table). Obviously, the U.S. has become hostile to businesses but come on... And in believing this, I can still believe in not supporting U.S. hegemonic rule via offensive illegal wars, sanctions, increasing the military budget, etc. I shouldn't have to explain this to someone who's been on here since 2011.

Ramsey is good for people needing the basics and needing to get their financial footings starting out. In fact, he's great for those scenarios. I'll always recommend him to people starting out on savings, debt reduction, etc. I still listen to him occasionally as well, but I find myself actively disagreeing with him or thinking/knowing he's flat out wrong or he's just being obtuse when he goes off on some of these subjects more and more. I'm happy to see the comments weren't eating up what he said and there's good skepticism around. As far as that guy's situation - he's doing fine. He's going to school for something very specific: aerospace engineering. He has $22k in savings and wants to know what to do with it to combat inflation. He's still young, has college to pay for, but wants to reduce some risk. I'd take a portion of that $22k sitting in savings and invest in gold, silver, or some fine art as a hedge against inflation, then probably leave the rest to bank roll for college.

China wants the world, it's that simple. While the American Empire has been, let's just call it evil, I can surmise the CCP/Chinese Empire will be doubly so.

I honestly haven't ran into too many of these issues on this forum, although it does pop up occasionally. I see it way more in other libertarian Internet spheres where there appears to be a very strong leftist slant to everything, which is bizarre to me and makes me skeptical. Yep, I agree with this.

If Rand really wants to continue spreading the ideals of liberty, he'll run again but focus on education and rallying at the universities and places like that ala Ron. Ron educated a generation of people in 2007 and 2012. Rand has a similar opportunity to continue that and help build "our" overall numbers. Of course, I don't want to stray into the debate about how "libertarian" he truly is, let's just all be general for the sake of this discussion. But, thinking he has any shot at the presidency, especially through the GOP who has Trump, DeSantis, Noem, et. al. right now, is a waste of thinking space. I highly suggest people simply focus on lower levels of government where we can actually have impact. In fact, I'd encourage people to just leave the GOP (at least for now, it's Trump's party and there is no turning Trump supporters) and boost the LP and take it over via the Mises Caucus... Let's finally draw the line in the sand and see where our true numbers are with this.

You're either libertarian, or you're not. Understanding that there is a relatively large umbrella with that, this whole "left libertarian" or "right libertarian" stuff is nonsensical. And the more we argue about those semantics and divide ourselves upon dividing ourselves, our goals will not grow. No, we won't agree on everything, but at the end of the day we all should follow the NAP, believe in the individual, be anti-war, anti-Fed (central bank), etc. We have a fantastic opportunity to reach out to all of the disenfranchised Americans who don't believe in the two party system. The LP can literally go on a marketing spree by simply pushing the slogan "Not one of the Big Two" or something like that. This crap that many of us are seeing about "left libertarians" and what not is junk. Purge those a-holes out of the party and tell them to go to the Dem party if they want. P.S. I've joined the Mises Caucus. We won't win the GOP, so we need to use our own vehicle at our disposal and really impact local and state races. I'm good for another go and I encourage other folks to do this. There is still power left on the lower levels that can then be used to fight against the national/federal crap going on. P.P.S. If anyone needs a great example of those who claim to be "left libertarian" just go to the "Libetarian" subreddit on Reddit and you'll see they're nothing than lite leftists posing as libertarians.

Isn't it extraordinary to see how many people flee the failings of their homes, only to keep voting and pushing their same beliefs and systems that led to said failure? The fact that so many of these people who do this lack the ability to be honest with themselves is just completely off-putting. About moving out of country: any advice on trying to persuade family members who still believe USA is the greatest? I've already had this conversation with my family and I'd basically be the only making this move, which more or less defeats the purpose if I'm trying to raise my family to the best I can. I won't be able to do much when I'm in another country and they all chose to stay here...

What can we do within our local/state/county libertarian parties to advance this? Do we show up to meeting or agenda and declare there's a Mises Caucus? It's been years and I don't remember the inner workings of these things.

I just don't understand. First, this is a clever, albeit not new, method to get around the law as it reads. But, if you're vaccinated, WTH do you care or what are you worried about? If these goons putting on the show are vaccinated, what does it matter if others aren't? Why did you get the vaccine in the first place if you're going to act scared? Is it really about wanting to protect others? I mean, people make their choices, accept them and move on maaaaaaaan. One of these guys referred to people not getting vaxxed as "anti-vax weirdos" and most people aren't anti-vax, per se, as much as it is we're skeptical of being jabbed with something that has absolutely no long term testing and is being aggressively pushed while the survival rate stands at 99.8%. For punk rockers, they sure are doing the whole "anti-establishment, anti-mainstream" things wrong. Very wrong. I feel back in the 1960s and 1970s these people would have been the vehicles of skepticism, but hey, this is what we get for having decades of leftists in schools and academia. They create a bunch of commie nitwits who hail the great mainstream media and government.

Yea, that's a fair assessment. Even diving a layer deeper, wasn't their goal to get 25,000 people but only 5,000 moved? It's been years, but those are the last numbers I heard. As they say: location, location, location. I think New Hampshire and New England in general is pretty country, but I don't know that I'd want to move there at this time...

I think Coinbase is the most popular and they're also a publicly traded company now (COIN). However, their help system leaves much to be desired. People have problems all of the time with them, usually just weird things that you don't find out about until you try to buy/sell.

XRP is slightly tricky right now. With the SEC holding their great stage act, some exchanges aren't allowing you to buy/sell XRP. However, I do think it has some upside. Now's just a matter of waiting for the court charade to end, which I assume it won't any time soon.

Americans don't want to have kids because they want to play video games and collect their funkos into their 30s. By the time they grow out of this, men's balls have shrunk due to no exercise, not being outside and doing "manly" things, etc. and the natural issues with "advanced" age simply make it even harder to have children. We're all living for the now, no longer the tomorrow. Consume. Consume. CONSUME. Complain, whine, moan about how there's no time to do anything as all of these d bags and white leftist women do nothing but watch television and virtue signal. Is America in decline? You bet your a$$ it is. We're replaying the downfall of Rome act by act.

The City of Tulsa is going to begin intensely looking into reparations for victims and eventually all blacks in Tulsa for the Race Riot/Massacre (call it what you want). Meanwhile, we can't talk about all of the decades of things already given to blacks, the millions donated to BLM and other black causes recently, or that blacks commit higher rates of crime and violence comparatively, or really anything because WACISM. Meanwhile, there seems to be a growing fervor amongst the blacks to start killing off whiteys even thought the majority of whites are not racist nor have they been anymore overtly racist than blacks have been to whites... People are too stupid to see the game being played: who wins in a race war, or when we're all divided like this? The Powers That Be. But whatever. I'm here for the ride at this point.

The Seasteading institute is trying an arrangement with French Polynesia. I'm not sure how it's working out but I know they've said the government of FP has been very skeptical and wary of what the Seasteaders are wanting to do. To paraphrase what the head guy for the institute said "it's hard asking governments to basically 'lease' or 'donate' their territory to a group of people ultimately wanting to get away from said governments..." I like the comment that countries can ultimately only be bought in blood. I think that holds true more so today than perhaps ever and that's why there aren't more or new countries being formed anymore. Also, we have one example to look at and see how "effective" it's been ala the Free State Project. That was basically free to do and what has it ultimately managed to achieve?
