I think it is wrong to falsely accuse anyone of anything they did not do. But, if the guy had real morals he would not have been having sex with a woman and another man in a bathroom at a college party. Ya know??? He did something wrong when he admits that instead of playing Mr. victim he will find real healing.

Why It's So Hard To Predict Where China's Latest Piece Of Space Junk Will Land According to the simulations the 23 ton core booster for the Long March 5B will likely enter earth's atmosphere and mostly burn up in the next 24 hours, but knowing where and when is still impossible. The prediction window is still 12 hours long leaving a lot of uncertainty as to where it might end up. Most likely it'll end up in the ocean, but there's a 30% chance of it dropping debris on land. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afGFmAljL5E

I'll cede you the point on the second amendment. We got through four years of Trump, and some horrific shootings, with no substantial bans, that's about the bestthat could be hoped for I suppose. And the Warp Speed nonsense may in fact bring about the Zombie Apocalypse. My grouching is at the idea of "reaching across the aisle" to Marxist revolutionaries. In my mind, I have not overstated the danger they pose to all of us. If anything, I'm underplaying it.

I don't think that is a fair or accurate judgement of the platform. For one thing, the money plank is about far more than just federal money-printing. (And in any case, I'd still rather the LP and its candidates and representatives harp about the Fed than about how "we must be actively anti-racist.") For another thing, there are seven other planks, as well - including the decentralization plank, which explicitly supports secession and identifies it as part of the "absolute right of self-determination." So if, as you said earlier, we must regard "the right of secession paramount" ... well, there you go. What's to disagree with? There is no requirement that someone who supports the Mises Caucus must care about all the planks, much less that they must care about them all equally. (In fact, that's the whole point of having several planks.)

Here is the former director of the CIA openly saying that you will be "rooted out" of the body politic of the United States: John Brennan: I know… the members of the Biden team who have been nominated or have been appointed are now moving in laser light fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements we’ve seen overseas. Where they germinate in different parts of the country and they gain strength, and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians. And unfortunately, I think there has been this momentum that has been generated unfortunately I think of the demagogue of rhetoric of people that’s just departed government but also those who continue in the halls of Congress. So I really do think that the law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence and even the defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very, very serious, and insidious threat to our democracy and our republic.

IMO, there is no such thing as "be too much of a secessionist-purist " ... ... and I doubt that there are many (if any) in the Mises Caucus who would have significant disagreements with any of that. I certainly don't. The platform isn't about what ought to be true with respect to any and all permissible (and as yet hypothetical) socio-political systems that might exist in the future. It's about what the members of the Mises Caucus presently think the Libertarian Party in particular ought to be focused on the most with respect to all the anti-liberty policies currently being imposed and enacted by the U.S. government (from the federal to local levels). What socio-political system(s) ought or ought not to be promoted and erected (and how any of that should be done) is an entirely separate matter, and is well beyond the proper scope of the LPMC platform. That just isn't what it's for.

Meh. Sounds like standard issue pablum - more dull and lame than anything else, and hardly worth getting one's knickers in a twist over. It's a pretty safe bet that there was absolutely nothing whatsoever in AOC's presentation to Amash's class that they hadn't already heard a million times before (and won't hear a million times more to come). Much more interesting and worthy of comment is that Amash has had Michael Malice as a guest presenter to his class. Now there's someone who is far more likely to have said something actually worth hearing and thinking about - something that hadn't already been heard by the class a million times before (or even at all, for that matter). If Amash wants to present interesting, thought-provoking perspectives from lefty types, he'd do better to invite people like Thaddeus Russell or Glenn Greenwald, rather than AOC. On the other hand, if merely promoting the nostrums of being "allies in the better governance" is the objective, then I guess AOC is as good (or as bad) as anyone else for that purpose.

Hey old friend. Your inbox is full or else I'd have sent this there.

This election has me at the point of no hope for the future of this nation. And I occasionally remember the good people from RPFs and all the time we had exchanging ideas and creating our own little online community.

I read a bit of your latest comments about holding the line so maybe we can gather a counter-force. Whelp. Time is up. I'm a bit sad the forum is not as active as in days gone by, but things change.

Thank God Ron is still alive to be a voice of reason in a sea of dystopian technocrats.

Swiss gun ownership: one of the perks of maintaining a healthy, national identity, while remaining cosmopolitan, liberal, and rather open. Legal immigration there is actually well regulated and up in the past 30 years, according to some articles. Its a shame our national ethos is immature or nonexistant by comparrison.

HAHA! I just saw your post in another thread (I was catching up on forum drama) about Mr A putting me on a leash. I don't think he would do that to me if he could. Even though he complains about my oversharing sometimes (not on the forum but IRL. I'm not good at filtering), he knows I'm a good girl and despite my outward personality, I'm a surprisingly solid and committed person underneath. We've been together since I was 23 (24 years/married 20), he knows everything - even stuff he'd rather not know.
