Worked on liberals. There was a period of about ten years where the only Christians the media would ever point their cameras at were the Westboro Baptist Church. For those who don't remember, the Westboro Baptist was mostly members of a sizeable clan named Phelps who spent a decade this way: Do rude crap on camera, in God's name, mostly involving spoiling the funerals of dead veterans. ? it's a secret] ? Show up with plenty of money to feed the clan.

I'm sure you don't want me smacking down your anti-Rand Paul trolling and your outright lies. You know. The way the Supreme Court struck down the Legal Tender Act of 1862 in 1863. Unfortunately for you, what lying trolls want from me and what they get from me are two different things.

Let's see if we can make this so simple even you can understand it. He does grasp the distinction. Ron and Rand Paul do grasp the distinction. "The distinction" is legal tender laws dating back to 1913. Ron and Rand Paul want to repeal those laws, and completely do away with "the distinction".

Police vehicles doing recon? Police vehicles doing recon, Gracie? Someone is passing out rep, or at least promissory notes for rep, for being fed bullshit. The TPD itself says it didn't own it's first aircraft until sixty (count them, 60) years later. http://www.riflewarrior.com/reaching_for_the_sky.html But of course you'll pass out rep for being lied to. You can't handle the truth, but you love you some stroking of your confirmation bias, don't you? No wonder we couldn't put Ron Paul over in two tries. What? I can have less war and more wealth and liberty if I listen to the truth and give up my confirmation bias? Nah. First someone who doesn't believe anything can come out of an airplane unless it's a government bomber (and actually effective at causing destruction), and here we have two long term Stormfront trolls who know better than the entire recorded history of a city neither has even visited, and also seem to want all aircraft to belong to the government (sooooo libertarian).

See, this is the problem. Even the people who understand there's a problem and want to fix it are so brainwashed and confused that they don't know when they're looking straight at a living Senator who has all the best of what Andy Jackson had. No, it isn't. And you aren't Matt Collins. How? Take it over how? What was the mechanism? Via a Legal Currency? Jackson was trying to prevent someone from taking a population which was thriving using plain old money and sapping that wealth by forcing them to use their Legal Currency? Is that what you mean? Then how is what I said incorrect? Do you think Bitcoin is somehow legal tender nowhere on earth, and fiat currency too? What do you think fiat means? Do you think it's only an acronym for Fabricators of Italian Automobiles in Turin?

Snowball the Statist trying to read between the lines because he thinks Ron and Rand Paul want to try to regulate Competing Official Legal Currencies is what caused this whole mess. Maybe reading between the lines is an unwise approach. Try this: Assume he's so authoritarian it boggles his mind that kids trade Three Musketeers bars for Hot Wheels without going to the government and having one or the other declared a Legal Tender, and go from there.

Because Andrew Jackson wanted money to remain just a thing you trade for other stuff. He wanted it to remain money, a convenient asset with actual intrinsic value, and didn't want us stuck getting our wealth drained by the perpetrators of a Legal Currency. What did you think? Seriously? That Ron and Rand Paul want to pass laws to make gold suffer inflation?

*The hell he says. Ron Paul doesn't want to confer special status on everything from Bitcoin to those crappy gold foil covered fake chocolate coins they sell at Halloween. He wants to strip special status from everything, including the dollar. Snowball's such a statist so down deep inside he can't conceive of money as just a thing you can trade for other stuff, just like anything else you own. This has been a public service post in aid of the poor hapless guys who had the misfortune of getting this place named for them.

There are lots of pics of the scorched earth. That's one of the few things of which we do have several pics. A few pics of wagonload of bodies, too. Nobody ever said 1921 civilian single engine biplanes did B-52 carpet bombing. Nobody said anything about precision guided bunker busting munitions, or even Norden bombsight levels of accuracy. Nobody accused any actual air force of the vast international conflict ended just three years earlier of hitting anything they were trying to dump on more than ten percent of the time. We're talking about rednecks lobbing stuff out of proto-cropdusters, airplanes that make the Stearman look like a Lear jet. Whether it was sticks of dynamite or jars of gasoline, they probably had hell even getting one or two of the fuses lit in an open cockpit before they ran out of gas. Everyone carries on about one or two wood and canvas biplanes like it was some kind of blitzkrieg. This is Keystone Kops level shit. There's no extraordinary evidence because it's not that damned extraordinary a claim.

He's not mentioning the equally true fact that the rest of the media is fomenting racism among all other races and working double overtime to make conservatives, whites and Protestants feel disenfranchised. But as far as he goes, he's being more honest and forthright than any ex president since Carter.

Ron Paul said all currencies should have the same status. Where Snowball's train jumps the tracks is, he thinks liquid assets can't be taxed. He also seems to think that Paul saying he wants to give the dollar and any crypto the same status doesn't mean stop forcing the dollar on people. It seems to mean to him forcing people to accept currencies they don't want. I guess he figures Rand Paul is going to force people to accept HasbroBucks straight out of the little till in the Monopoly box. As for teh Collinz, anyone who can cooly sit and mumble that Rand's impurities will cause teh mighty little man to only give 73% instead of 115% this time even as Rand is single handedly slaying the Mighty Covid Bullshit Machine indicates that Rand knows all about Matt's 115% and don't want none.* The Too Pure For Paul Brigade, out in force. Wasn't it, ironically, the TPFPB that was trying to herd us in the Trump camp five years ago saying, he has momentum, and sounds more Pure than Paul (about half the time, the rest of the time he sounds like a neocon)? *Note this "fact" will soon be checked and found "incorrect"

That was my understanding. I think there may be something there for those who want to remain "politically active" FWIW.

Um, but isn't CRT teaching everyone that white people's melanin levels makes them more violent? I'm seeing a trend lately showing us the exact opposite of that. What could have been said to start beating up on an elderly person? If an elderly black, latino, or asian called me something I'd probably just laugh and say "ok old timer" and move along. It'd take something very bad for me to start beating up an old person. But hey, reading some of the comments on the Twitter thread, this lady was "definitely" a Karen just by the look of her face (cough, skin color) and she deserved it because the Amazon workers are heroes.

There is no such thing in nature as a "left libertarian", unless you're talking about a James_Madison_Lives, who is pretty leftist but is slowly learning Thomas Jefferson was right when he talked about the difficulty in finding "angels in human form" to take charge of us who actually love us and truly want us to be happy. Leftarians were invented by the troll brigade that sent us Swordshyll to confuse the masses about what libertarians believe and/or instill unfounded feelings about libertarians into the ignorant. And, of course, Republicans, the people who supported Nixon and the Bushes, are rather well known for their gullibility. Witness their willingness to go from "Fearless Alpha genius playing 3D chess" to "duped and in fear of his life" all within a single paragraph. Hell, look at Q. Hey, look! The Nostradamus of the CIA! That's bound to be a reliable source! The CIA is the enemy, the 'net is censored and a wall of trolls, and we laugh at the left for thinking the government loves them and wants them to be happy, but the Nostradamus of the CIA surely loves us and wants us to be happy!

Easy, chief... Let's not go down this road because you are assuming a LOT. I don't disagree with any of your premises, but isn't it possible that the upcoming Chinese empire can be a lot worse than the American? And countries prefer doing business with China because they have a massive labor force willing to work for just about anything (not the strongest argument you can bring to the table). Obviously, the U.S. has become hostile to businesses but come on... And in believing this, I can still believe in not supporting U.S. hegemonic rule via offensive illegal wars, sanctions, increasing the military budget, etc. I shouldn't have to explain this to someone who's been on here since 2011.

Ramsey is good for people needing the basics and needing to get their financial footings starting out. In fact, he's great for those scenarios. I'll always recommend him to people starting out on savings, debt reduction, etc. I still listen to him occasionally as well, but I find myself actively disagreeing with him or thinking/knowing he's flat out wrong or he's just being obtuse when he goes off on some of these subjects more and more. I'm happy to see the comments weren't eating up what he said and there's good skepticism around. As far as that guy's situation - he's doing fine. He's going to school for something very specific: aerospace engineering. He has $22k in savings and wants to know what to do with it to combat inflation. He's still young, has college to pay for, but wants to reduce some risk. I'd take a portion of that $22k sitting in savings and invest in gold, silver, or some fine art as a hedge against inflation, then probably leave the rest to bank roll for college.

I honestly haven't ran into too many of these issues on this forum, although it does pop up occasionally. I see it way more in other libertarian Internet spheres where there appears to be a very strong leftist slant to everything, which is bizarre to me and makes me skeptical. Yep, I agree with this.

If Rand really wants to continue spreading the ideals of liberty, he'll run again but focus on education and rallying at the universities and places like that ala Ron. Ron educated a generation of people in 2007 and 2012. Rand has a similar opportunity to continue that and help build "our" overall numbers. Of course, I don't want to stray into the debate about how "libertarian" he truly is, let's just all be general for the sake of this discussion. But, thinking he has any shot at the presidency, especially through the GOP who has Trump, DeSantis, Noem, et. al. right now, is a waste of thinking space. I highly suggest people simply focus on lower levels of government where we can actually have impact. In fact, I'd encourage people to just leave the GOP (at least for now, it's Trump's party and there is no turning Trump supporters) and boost the LP and take it over via the Mises Caucus... Let's finally draw the line in the sand and see where our true numbers are with this.

You're either libertarian, or you're not. Understanding that there is a relatively large umbrella with that, this whole "left libertarian" or "right libertarian" stuff is nonsensical. And the more we argue about those semantics and divide ourselves upon dividing ourselves, our goals will not grow. No, we won't agree on everything, but at the end of the day we all should follow the NAP, believe in the individual, be anti-war, anti-Fed (central bank), etc. We have a fantastic opportunity to reach out to all of the disenfranchised Americans who don't believe in the two party system. The LP can literally go on a marketing spree by simply pushing the slogan "Not one of the Big Two" or something like that. This crap that many of us are seeing about "left libertarians" and what not is junk. Purge those a-holes out of the party and tell them to go to the Dem party if they want. P.S. I've joined the Mises Caucus. We won't win the GOP, so we need to use our own vehicle at our disposal and really impact local and state races. I'm good for another go and I encourage other folks to do this. There is still power left on the lower levels that can then be used to fight against the national/federal crap going on. P.P.S. If anyone needs a great example of those who claim to be "left libertarian" just go to the "Libetarian" subreddit on Reddit and you'll see they're nothing than lite leftists posing as libertarians.

Naomi Wolf: How I was arrested at Occupy Wall Street

Arresting a middle-aged writer in an evening gown for peaceable conduct is a far cry from when America was a free republic. Read Naomi Wolf's report of her arrest at Occupy Wall Street about the 'closing civil society' where we live.

Report from Naomi Wolf (October 19, 2011):

Last night I was arrested in my home town, outside an event to which I had been invited, for standing
