Default Precinct Leaders, Check In

Guys, I think we have enough information to guage how useful the precinct leader system is. I assume we'll finish tonight with 6-7%

In my precinct 74 I got:

18/150, 12%, 4th

Other precincts in my polling location:

69:

9/82, 11%, 4th

71:
10/88, 11%, 4th

From Markderrider in Royal Oak

2:
26/202, 13%, 3rd

4:
21/165, 13%, 3rd

According to these results, having a precinct leader doubles the votes! You heard it here people, sign up, canvass, and man the polling locations!

Hey there! Glad to hear of your admirable poll showing!

I was wondering, as a precinct leader, did you go door to door canvassing? Some of the people in my RP group think door to door is too invasive and aren't going to be doing it...So far I think I am the only person in my town that is planning on doing it

Any tips?

Thank you very much for this thread. This is a marvelous idea.

I hope many more people post here.

I will promote this at The Paulunteer and I will preach it to my county as the County Coordinator.

My group thinks it takes too long to talk with people and just want to leave door hangers. I think personal interaction shows the passion and gets attention.

I know it takes longer but I would rather know that the door hanger didn’t fall to the ground next to pizza coupon door hanger that I see so often.

Either way I am happy our meetup is getting out and canvassing in some way.

Flog them.

There are 1,000,000 dead in Iraq, our economy is 2 inches from hyperinflation, and they are worried about being *invasive*?

This is a great thread. When things in this Michigan forum die down this should be posted in Grass Roots.
