This was linked off of the John McCain page.
http://nh2008.blogspot.com/2007/11/m...ur-debate.html U.S. Senator John McCain today issued the following statement on participating in the WMUR/ABC News/Facebook New Hampshire debate to be held Saturday, January 5, 2008 and the NH Republican Party/Fox News debate scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2008. The last I knew, McHuckabee were the only two republicans who accepted the invite to the ABC/Facebook debate. When Ron was in NH, last week, I asked him if he planned on going to the ABC/Facebook debate, and he said he was unaware of the debate, but he hasn't missed one yet. Hopefully, the campaign is fully aware of this opportunity. I'd really like to know that they know about it, and that they're arranging to have him there, if they already haven't. As for the NHRP/FOX debate on the 6th, is this a happening thing, or is this the FOX debate that was canceled because of Mitt's previous engagement? This almost seems too good to be true. Two debates. Two days in a row. Both of them in NH, and both of them are being covered by major news networks. Just days before the NH primary. Interestingly, the Free State Project is having it's Liberty Forum Thursday January 3 to Sunday January 6, 2008 in Nashua, New Hampshire. I heard Gardner Goldsmith mention on his radio show that Ron might show up to speak. Can anyone confirm any of these dates? If not, can we make an effort to let the campaign know about these debates, (and the Liberty Forum) in case they don't already) just so we can have the peace of mind knowing that they know. Two more debates in NH, and a possible appearance at the Liberty Forum. I still can't believe it. Somebody burst my bubble. (Oh yeah, Gardner Goldsmith's radio show is very good NH based Libertarian show (for lack of a better term) that streams live M-F 1pm to 4pm ..I highly suggest giving it a listen if you can) Last edited by Geronimo; 12-07-2007 at 08:55 PM. |

Bumping, because I'm sure that I'm not the only one who feels that missing out on two NH debates, two days in a row would be a tremendous blow.

Most debates (I do not know the requirements of these debates) require X% nationwide to get an invite. The Fox News debate that was canceled because Romney pussied out was 5% national
