Default 2012 Poll Includes Ron Paul, Ron Paul Brings Obama Poll Numbers Down, but trailing

PLEASE THANK THEM FOR INCLUDING RON PAUL SO THEY INCLUDE HIM AGAIN!

http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot....2-numbers.html

46% Obama
38% Paul

49% Obama
44% Huckabee

48% Obama

43% Romney

51% Obama
43% Palin

All Republican candidates trail Obama in the new PPP Poll, however Ron Paul drives Obamas numbers down more than any other candidate.

What this means is that Liberals are undecided if they would vote for Ron Paul or Barack Obama in the general election. However, the same would be said with conservatives supporting Ron Paul.

16% Undecided between the two in the general election. Nearly double than any other candidates undecided.

However Ron Paul is having trouble with the Conservative crowd.

This is good news for Ron Paul, he gets the most support from Liberals out of any other GOP candidate, but he has a lot of undecided Conservatives about him. We NEED to get to work!!!!!

The neocons are RP's worst enemy.

I posted this in the original thread for this; but might as well post it here too

Quote:
New to the poll this month is Ron Paul. He is more well liked by Democrats (18%) than his fellow Republicans who sport 13-14% favorability numbers with the opposing party. At the same time he is easily the least popular within his own party, as 25% of Republican voters have an unfavorable opinion of him to 11-19% for the other three. He trails Obama 46-38.
Quote:
Obama is up 49-44 on Mike Huckabee, 48-43 on Mitt Romney, 51-43 on Sarah Palin,
and 46-38 against Ron Paul.
Quote:
Huck:
Favorable............... .36%
Unfavorable ........... .37%
Not Sure................. .27%

Palin:
Favorable 40%
Unfavorable 49%
Not Sure 11%

Ron Paul:
Favorable 23%
Unfavorable 34%
Not Sure 42%

Romney:
Favorable 30%
Unfavorable 39%
Not Sure 31%
Interestingly, Paul has a higher favorablity with self-identified "hispanics" than all other contenders except palin who bests him by 1% point.

Also in the general 12% of African Americans are unsure if they would vote for Ron Paul or Obama, highest among any other Republican.

RP has always had higher minority support, than your average republican. That is a good thing.

Fascinating results. I wonder what the pundits will say about this.

Among republicans, 27% saw Paul unfavorably, while 26% saw him favorably.

That could stand to improve...

great to see Obama's numbers falling more with Paul against him than the other candidates, and more undecided's.

And wow - Palin is the worst!

This is super huge.

Default I like these numbers

This indicates that 25% might vote for the right third party candidate!

Q13 If you are a Democrat, press 1. If you are a
Republican, press 2. If you are an independent
or identify with another party, press 3.
Democrat .................................................. ...... 41%
Republican........................................ .............. 33%
Independent/Other.......................................... 26%

Imagine the possibilities of:

Paul/Schiff
Paul/Dobbs
Paul/( )

I'll even throw in,

Paul/Palin to get the base onboard. Would Ron run as an Independent? We have the makings of the Perot effect.

Time to boot either the Dems or Repubs off the stage!
