Default Billboard designs for Operation St. Paul

This is part of the Operation St. Paul project. The idea is to pull select, short quotes from The Manifesto and put them on billboards around St. Paul during the convention. They would seem like ads for the book, but in reality we're putting these up for the national delegates to look at. We can try to get them on the sides of the buses and anything else we can think of.

Here are some examples.

There's already a thread about Manifesto quotes. Please add any there and be sure to include the page numbers, as they can appear on the billboard after the quote.

If we had 4-5 different billboards up of the same design, but with different quotes, it would be marvelous.

Help us fund these by donating to Operation St. Paul.

Wonderfully conceived. Truly awe-inspiring! Kudos!

I MUST see these come to fruition. I'm headed over to the ChipIn now.

I like this concept.

Anyone remember the Ames Straw Poll? The path to the RP tent was lined with several 3x5 banners featuring inspiring quotes from our founders. These banners drew LOTS of attention as everyone enjoyed reading the quotes. As the chief 'tent-greeter' I stood among these and engaged passers-by in conversation - they were a great way to hook people who otherwise would have just walked on by.

Does anyone have photos or video showing those banners in Ames? There might be an opportunity to employ a similar approach in St. Paul.

Thanks for the donation! I have to call the publisher Monday to clear using quotes from the book. Not sure if this is a copyright issue or not, but better to have permission than not

You'd think they wouldn't mind.

It's free advertising for them

I'd be curious to hear about this, and very disappointed if proves to be a problem.
Please let us know.
