Can we stop and remember that this is about liberty yet? Do we want us and our kids to be free?

Can any one of us do it alone?

Are we on the same side of this war or aren't we?

Actually, no--or at least not specifically. I consider the factions saying that the other factions are wholly responsible for our failures to be more damaging. I have supported libertarian ideals for decades and I know what an uphill battle it is to get the message out. While we scream at each other, there are still tens of millions of Americans whose first reaction to hearing the name Ron Paul is, "Who?" I'm talking to all of us.

Instead of trying to convert each other, can we look outward? Americans are as varied as we are. Less intelligent, less involved, perhaps less open minded, but as varied. We need all of us to reach all of them.

Why are we wasting all of this vitriol on each other when John McCain actually deserves it?

There you went and did it again acptulsa....using that calm reasoning, common sense stuff.

Enlightening those that are not in this forum is what's important and key to this movement. Being reactionary and vitriolic amongst ourselves is counter productive and more like preaching to the preachers.

When you've been in this fight for an extended amount of time ya learn to pace yourself and take a patient, even keeled approach or face total burnout. The odds are never with the righteous and no one ever said it was gonna be easy, let alone fair.
