Default Fox or Anniversary bomb?

I've seen excitement about two fund raising days (money bombs) for Ron Paul.

One is an anti Fox money bomb and the other is to celebrate the 51st anniversary of Ron and Carol Paul's wedding by giving them $51 on the first of February.

I'm thinking we should do the $51 money bomb on the 1st and then pick a later date for the Fox Bomb. One, we won't get another chance at their anniversary (but the FOX bomb could be anytime) and Two, it's great that they have been together so long and shows that they are good people who believe in one another and their family. So I'm partial to the anniversary fund raiser.

But we need a vote! So please choose one or the other or none of the above. Please vote!! I'm probably going to move on this one so if you want to help decide now is the time!

Do both on the same day.

ANNIVERSARY BOMB! The Fox one will be spun to make supporters look bad, in the same fashion that November 5th was. Let's prove the mainstream media wrong and show some class.

I will support either money bomb, but I would like to add that we need to bring in money before Feb. 1st in order for the campaign to use it on Super Tuesday.

Therefore, I would also like to propose supporting my signature below.

Sheesh! Not ANOTHER one! Whilst we are being proffered two choices here, what about the one being promoted at http://www.ronpaulforpresident2008.com ? http://www.libertytax08.com/ It's for Feb _3_, so we are supposed to have moneybombs on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd...and you want to put another one on the 27th?

No can do, anyway. It's way too late for ad-spends in this cycle. That's what the Dec 16th money was all about. They've already bought the ads they are running prior to Super tuesday.

If you read my remarks, I will support each one of these money bombs.

They are still spending money on Super Tuesday, did you not read the email sent out by the campaign for that purpose...$23 million????

The 21st money bomb, just brought in 2 mill, and over 5,000 new donors, since then our daily donations have come in above average, therefore the momentum is with us right now! Carpe diem!

My suggestion is merely to get donations surging again beginning at Midnight on the 27th -

The $23M is NOT for Super Tuesday. It's to carry on "from here". They (the campaign) pushed us mid-November to "Don't wait" for the Dec 16 moneybomb, saying they needed to order and pay for the adspace weeks in advance, and the Dec 16 moneybomb was too close to the Jan 3 Iowa primary.

Spreading your dosh over 4 days in close proximity to each other defeats the whole purpose of the moneybomb.

We should have weekly moneybombs, to provide continuity of cash for budgetary purposes, and then ad-hoc BIG ones, 4-6 weeks apart to gain the media attention.

That sounds like the logical solution. I'm excited about the Fox rebellion money bomb potential but it needs more time to fully mature. But I guess the counter argument could be that if it's after super-Tuesday we risk loosing all enthusiasm if Feb 5th is a disappointment.
