" And since Russia wants to sell the S-400 to Turkey, Qatar, Saudi, India, etc, it wants to showcase their effectiveness."
NATO country buying S-400s? They are already protected by US Patriot air defense systems. And we fly out of some Air Bases there.

Except as to the rule of appointment, the United States have an indefinite discretion to make requisitions for men and money; but they have no authority to raise either by regulations extending to the individual citizens of America.
More like scapegoat for pre-meditated takedown of USA/UK unipolar order. It makes me wonder if that is happening sooner rather than later. USA probably feels this is doable based on backroom deals with all our "allies". But there could very well be a deeper deal that US/UK are not part of.
This isn't the end of the world, perhaps. Just the orchestrated economic and political destruction of USA/UK.
In other words...
Maybe, anyway. I don't know how far along we are.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-m...-idUSKBN1HG2QYRussian military: no traces of chemical attack in Syria's Douma: Ifax
MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Russian military said on Monday it had found no traces of a chemical attack in the Syrian town of Douma, Interfax news agency reported.
The defense ministry said Russian military medics had examined patients in a hospital in Douma and found no symptoms of chemical poisoning, according to the agency.
A sense of danger gives birth to fear. And fear is the time-honored cross for the crucifixion of liberty.
Your move Trump. Are you willing to start a major international incident over an unsubstantiated chemical attack?

I guarantee that the NSC wackjobs are telling Trump that the Russians will take it and smile. That's what I'm most alarmed about. Very bad advice. This is the time where we need someone like Flynn who can communicate with the Russian high command.
Three possible scenarios at play:
1) Trump is using the alleged chemical attack as a precursor to finalize the partition of Northern Syria.
2) Trump doesn't really care for the Likud jews, but needs their backing. He will prepare and execute a toothless strike on non-strategic targets, so he can 'win' the public relations battle with the Zionist led media and Washington establishment.
3) Trump was blackmailed (Epstein?) and neutered before being given the GOP nomination. Now he's on autopilot completing the Bush Administration's mission statement for the Middle East.

Whenever I think you are about to wake up, u start with your wishful fantasies. This is the same game Bush and Obama have been playing except this time Trump is escalating it. He nominated one of the board members of Project for a New American century in John Bolton and somehow that doesnt convince u.
The most likely answer to Trump neoconish behaviour is the one staring you in the face and the simplest to understand. He is a neocon. His son in law and his family are friendly to the likud party, he was the only prominent american politician to endorse Netanyahu.
Sorry pal but the only ones being played are the people who still believe that Trump is somehow working against the zionists and deep state(whatever that means).
So Trump's foreign policy statements of non-intervention long before his Presidential campaign including advocating against intervention in Syria were all just an act? Not buying it.
That is not to say he could not be easily swayed into adopting the Neocon's foreign policy and enticed by prestige of being a military President. A man whose quest to be loved is currently and will get allot of love from entire anti-Trump Neocon contingent by playing by their rules. Could also be Trump giving the Neocons everything they want to prevent his own impeachment.
The real mystery about this entire affair is.......What does Trump get from destroying Syria? His political career will be effectively over. His opponents on the right and left won't suddenly stop their daily onslaught.
Say what you want about Trump, but he's a survivor. I can't see him accepting the giant goat horns, unless his mental capacity has greatly diminished. There is a dynamic about Trump that he will use the jews for his advantage (as he has in the past) and vice versa. But to willingly accept career suicide and national shame for jews and the neocons?

To be frank with u, I dont think it makes any difference what was in his heart before he became president. The truth is that he gave off all the signs(to people who can discern it) that he was a neocon. Remember he supported the humanitarian war in Libya and when that one went bust like most of us (that can discern it) knew it would, he wised up and started condemning the Syrian war.
I have to say that he has more political smarts than Hillary but that doesn't make him a good person

Speaking shoulder-to-shoulder with French President Emmanuel Macron from Paris, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced his "readiness to work with allies on any military response in Syria if needed," after anti-government groups reported that the Syrian Army dropped a chlorine-filled munition which killed at least 60 people in the eastern Ghouta region last weekend.
“If our alliance with our partners requires it, we will be present,” said the Crown Prince, as he wrapped up a three-day visit to France.

Moscow has been trying to improve relations with GCC countries.Saudi foreign minister Adel Al Jubier hinted at MbS's stance earlier, telling reporters "there are consultations among a number of countries with regards to what steps to take in order to deal with this issue," adding "Our position is that those responsible have to be held accountable and brought to justice."

The Russians have been hiding their S-400 batteries from prying eyes for quite some time. The Pentagon knows very little about it's capabilities. In 2013, with older models in place, General Dempsey warned Obama that any further aerial bombardment could be thwarted by Russian Air Defense in Syria. Eventually, Obama backed down.

Part of that is coaching and PR, but he might have even believed in the foreign policy he campaigned on. He wasn't as scatter-brained as he later became; maybe he hated the job and loved the power, or vice versa, and that's why he could barely make a sentence. The cognitive dissonance was critical mass.
