Maybe I'm not reading him properly but @PAF is.

He says that the people, acting through their government, have no right to restrict in any way the flow of labor, capital, people or goods across any border, ever.

Have you tried reading and listening to what Ron Paul has said in defense of his libertarian immigration positions? At least in his case, I'm certain that his reasons all do have a lot to do with liberty.
    Yes, I have.

I have posted Ron Paul's campaign ad from 2008 repeatedly, where he clearly states that the United States needs to pull it's troops from far flung battlefields doing the bidding of the global elite and bring them home to defend our border and use them to protect our citizens and defend our Republic.

That resonated with me then, it does now, and I'm in 100% agreement.

If he has changed his position substantially and is now an advocate of truly open borders, then I will respectfully disagree and say that he is wrong.

There's no real way to get around that, and that is why we have to separate.

Even if you used force to drag the Quislings along, they would stab you in the back and throw open the gates to the invaders, right at the worst possible moment.

    Yes

But laws that permit deadly force for trespassing, not anything more (burglary/attack), are really hard to find regardless of what a sign says.

And I'm not sure there are any laws that recognize a right to trespass

Ideologically speaking, there would be no welfare state as you describe.

Some Machiavellians would justify the means, but I'd rather not have two wrongs trying to make a right.

I also don't consider myself a wide "open border" dewd (for example I don't support birthright citizenship), but I'm 100% opposed to a wall.

Now go ahead everyone, unleash the fury.

^^^ You get it. Unfortunately, pro-growth-government and restrictionist do not.

Correction: private property borders, which this government and the people no longer respect. The right to homestead is out to lunch too, in favor of government owning/controlling the land, which it has no right to do. That is why nationalism is every bit as dangerous as socialism... in my eyes they are one and the same - elimination of individualism and Natural Rights.
