I love Dave Smith. He talks about the culture in addition to policy. And importantly, he understands that political institutions aren't the only power center in society.

    Gonna watch now.

Dave Smith is probably the best libertarian podcaster there is, and this was a good appearance.

Though even cogent analysis from intelligent people is rendered incomplete without invoking The Cathedral. Somewhere in the middle of the discussion they talk about why so many large companies are woke. Joe says it's just chasing trends, Dave says it's a divide and conquer tactic to distract the left from actually going after billionaires. At best, this is a partial analysis from both of them.

Dave Smith is the best, no doubt. In fact he needs to run for the Libertarian nomination in '24.

We have big plans including creating a program to bring libertarians like Maj Toure and Tom Woods to college campuses.

We have several LP Mises Caucus Members who won elected office in 2020 including multiple City Council seats.

    Republican.

Unless we don't care about winning. Which characterizes the whole liberty movement, by the way.

Dave would get nowhere in a GOP primary. He might be able to do some good as the LP nominee though.

The GOP needs more moderate Christian conservatives like Dave Smith. He can follow in his idol, Mitt Romney's footsteps, except this time he'll win!
