Accountable Capitalism Act would bring about ‘fundamental change’, redistribute wealth and give more power to workers

lizabeth Warren, the Massachusetts senator tipped as a Democratic presidential candidate in 2020, has unveiled new plans for legislation aimed at reining in big corporations, redistributing wealth, and giving workers and local communities a bigger say.

Warren will introduce the bill dubbed the Accountable Capitalism Act on Wednesday. The proposal aims to alter a model she says has caused corporations to chase profits for shareholders to the detriment of workers.
Under the legislation, corporations with more than $1bn in annual revenue would be required to obtain a corporate charter from the federal government – and the document would mandate that companies not just consider the financial interests of shareholders.
Instead, businesses would have to consider all major corporate stakeholders – which could include workers, customers, and the cities and towns where those corporations operate.

Anyone who owns shares in the company could sue if they believed corporate directors were not meeting their obligations.

Employees at large corporations would be able to elect at least 40% of the board of directors. An estimated 3,500 public US companies and hundreds of other private companies would be covered by the mandates.

Third world $#@! right there . She really plans for the govt to own all of those businesses but this is where she is starting . Employees electing board members ? That will put them out of business before the govt takeover . These employees are generally the same people who have been voting for great minds like Kerry , Gore , Obama , Clinton , Warren etc . One thing is certain , nobody will be concerned about tariffs anymore .

This bill, if passed into law, would have MUCH larger ramifications than appears on the surface. It would mark the beginning of federalization of all corporate entities and fundamentally change the way business is administered, debt is created and a loss of state control over a huge portion of the economy. It also ties in with why the Feds want a FEDERAL ID CARD.

Presently, humans are registered as property of the individual states that they were born in (via Birth Certificates) and relocate to. The state SecState converts the name on the Birth Certificate into a corporation, thus making the living human able to engage in business with other business entities and to enter into contracts. This is all maintained at the state level. Presently, the federal aspect is where the Feds receive the birth info from the states and bundle it into a Treasury bond and humans willingly (if ignorantly) declaring themselves US Citizens, thus making themselves liable for debts incurred by the Federal government corporation as well as liable for income taxes, and receive, in exchange, some privileges extended like a retirement plan called Social Security. State ID cards identify the corporation created by the state we were born in (the ALL CAPS NAME is the corp). Federal ID cards bypass the state, hence why they push for a Federal ID but blaming it on immigrants or some other false context.

How does Warren's bill affect this? It actually forwards the Federal ID agenda. It removes the state aspect of that process entirely and turns it entirely into a federal process, thus federalizing all humans as federal property when born. Of course, Warren nor the media nor Congress as a whole would dare make a peep about what the bill really does, lest it awaken people to the true nature of "citizenship" and what "Birth Certificates" and "ID cards" are for. This is a MAJOR bill being introduced under a completely false pretext.

Just to note- Republican scores in the survey were almost identical to the Democratic ones. http://media1.s-nbcnews.com/i/today/...-18Release.pdf

57% said Republican congressional candidates were "out of step with the mainstream" and 56% said the Democrats were. (33% of each said the candidates in the respective parties were "in the mainstream")

When it comes to their approaches to issues, would you say that [INSERT ITEM] are generally in the mainstream of most Americans' thinking, or are generally out of step with most Americans' thinking?
How positive do they view the members of the two parties?

    Republican:

    Very Positively: 11%
    Somewhat positively: 24%
    Somewhat negatively: 20%
    Very Negatively: 26%

    Democrats:

    Very Positively: 10%

It won't pass. And has nothing to do with the Republican National ID idea.

A well deserved ego-maniac, tyvm! Takes a lot of time to learn this much about how the world really works.

Now, where's your thread about what Trump had for lunch today? I must have missed it.

Btw, this would also include the Federal Reserve (private corporation) and a myriad of other corporations that operate under the umbrella of the US Inc corporate government. Nationalizing the Fed? I can't wait to read this bill.

Wow, this bill is definitely major.

It puts any corporate entity with revenues of $1B (to start, subject to later amendment to any amount, of course) under direct federal control for existence. That means standard corporations, the Federal Reserve system, STATE and LOCAL GOVERNMENTS (which are corporations), and more, even YOU, if your private revenues are $1B. Since everything under the current system is a corporation, including "you" (all caps name), everything becomes a federally controlled entity, dependent on approval from the feds to commercially exist and continue to exist.

It also severely limits corporate campaign related spending by requiring that 75% of shareholders and directors approve of the expenditure. The charter to operate will be revoked if this is not followed. No doubt giant corporations have gotten out of control but turning over the ability of a corporation to exist (especially when the $1B threshold can be amended at any time to any amount) to a newly created federal agency reeks of political control of all business. Think the IRS targeting of conservative non-profits was bad? Wait until such ability is extended to the entire legal existence of your business!
