Winston Churchhill on why the U.S. should have stayed OUT of World War I

"We as a country have lost faith and confidence in freedom." -- Ron Paul
"It can be a challenge to follow the pronouncements of President Trump, as he often seems to change his position on any number of items from week to week, or from day to day, or even from minute to minute." -- Ron Paul
Well I don't know, Mr. Drake. Maybe a lot could go wrong! Maybe nothing. Maybe it would be a non-event, non-issue, and it would be fine. I'm not saying liberties should be given up (of course, obviously, duh). I'm just pointing out simple facts, like:
* Of course illegal criminal invaders are going to support a party that embraces illegal criminal invaders (and not the guy that says he's going to kick them out, Out, OUT!). Duh! This does not imply anything but the obvious. It certainly does not imply they read Mises, or even Friedman, or subscribe in any way to the Western Imperialist Whiteman philosophy known as Libertarianism.
* Americans overwhelmingly want to stop -- not slow, but stop -- immigration. And that includes legal immigration. Americans definitely do not want to do what the LP gives them some friendly advice on how to accomplish, were they to want to do that. They don't. "Do Not Want!"
That's all! I'm sure we can both agree on those two facts, Mr. Drake, if only because they're obvious.

The Federalist Papers, No. 15:
Except as to the rule of appointment, the United States have an indefinite discretion to make requisitions for men and money; but they have no authority to raise either by regulations extending to the individual citizens of America.
Sorry for not being more explicit but Ron Paul already told us what can go wrong and Trump has already started doing the wrong! In addition to what I already posted, there's the fact that we now have a "constitution free zone" called the border area.
For nearly 2 decades now (or more), people like Alex Jones have been railing against face scanning cameras, have been unwilling to accept that in the name of fighting terrorism, Trump does it in the name of fighting illegal immigrants...and....crickets. Had Bush called the Patriot Act the "Patriot and keep out the brown people Act" there might not have ever been any opposition from the right to it.
Fact 1 is not "obvious." In fact AntiFederalist seemed to think the idea that Hispanics, many of who are NOT "illegal" or criminal in any sense of the word, might be more likely to identify as libertarian than whites. Further the libertarian party isn't the only party to embrace lowering barriers to immigration. There's also the democratic party and the socialist party. So it's not "obvious" that immigrants, illegal or otherwise, criminal or otherwise, would embrace the libertarian party over other alternatives. But certainly they would be more willing to go with the LP than the GOP.I'm just pointing out simple facts, like:

As for how bad the majority of Americans want to stop immigration or whatnot, most Americans don't support liberty of any type. Most Americans at one point supported the unPatriot Act, the Iraq war and the Department of Homeland inSecurity. If I was interested in following what most American want...then I would have supported Obama.

A broad sentiment here is the wall won't even work to stop people from the south, i.e. they will just climb over. So if it comes down to it, in some kind of mythical future (Ron speaks in a lot of hypotheticals, this is where he loses people) where Mexico is more free and prosperous than the USA, I don't mind climbing over and entering Mexico illegally (they have much more punishing laws) if need be.
I just want objectivity on this forum and will point out flawed sources or points of view at my leisure.

Yes, well, don't get mad at me about it! In fact, probably don't get mad about it at all. Just accept reality as it is. Work hard to be a success, becoming respected and powerful, and perhaps you will be able to change some small aspect of it, someday.
Sentence 2 is not "a sentence." In fact anyway, all we are talking about is one (1) Presidential election, and the stoner the LP ran happened to be: ex-Governor of a Hispanic state. Does this account for all of the difference? Almost certainly. We are talking about a statistical blip of an anomaly in what amounts to a tiny percentage of the support of a candidate who himself got a tiny percentage of the overall vote.Fact 1 is not "obvious." In fact AntiFederalist seemed to think the idea that Hispanics, many of who are NOT "illegal" or criminal in any sense of the word, might be more likely to identify as libertarian than whites.
Anyway, the Mexicans in New Mexico voted for Stoner Gary. That's all. Doesn't prove they're more libertarian and freedom-loving than native white Americans, which is what Railroad wanted to prove.
Sorry!
I don't want to just shoot you down, though. Maybe something else can prove that! Have at it! I'm all for you denigrating whites!
Right! All of which the Mexicans supported disproportionately -- and much more disproportionately than Stoney J.Further the libertarian party isn't the only party to embrace lowering barriers to immigration. There's also the democratic party and the socialist party.Uhh, yeah: and they didn't!So it's not "obvious" that immigrants, illegal or otherwise, criminal or otherwise, would embrace the libertarian party over other alternatives.Which is, yeah: what I said! But certainly they would be more willing to go with the LP than the GOP.
Great! It just sounded like the LP was interested in it (what Americans want), which makes sense, being a political party and all... they just got it totally wrong! (which also makes sense, them being the LP after all)As for how bad the majority of Americans want to stop immigration or whatnot, most Americans don't support liberty of any type. Sounds like we need a party that gives real Americans everything they want.

Partisan politics, misleading or emotional bill titles, and 4D chess theories are manifestations of the same lie—that the text of the Constitution, the text of legislation, and plain facts do not matter; what matters is what you want to believe. From this comes hypocrisy. And where hypocrisy thrives, virtue recedes. Without virtue, liberty dies. - Justin Amash, March 2018

Breaking news from America's Trusted, Super-Trustworthy, Believe Us News Source, CNN:
A large number of people in this year’s caravan are from Honduras. Among the reasons they’ve given CNN for fleeing the country: widespread gang violence, domestic violence, poverty, political repression after a contested presidential election and discrimination against the transgender community.
They are fleeing because of anti-trannyism! Of course!
Now this all makes sense.
They just want the Freedom to shoot their kids up with hormones and chop off their private parts; that's all they're asking!
Is that so much to ask?
Come on, guys, can't we, as Railroad asks us, begs of us, can't we be big enough men to grant this Liberty to them? Even though they are so randomly unlucky to be on the wrong side of an arbitrary river that authoritarian Mother Nature so capriciously put there? Come on! Let's step up, guys! Time to stop resting on our laurels at 95% right; time to get 100% right.
