As far as the Kardashians:

Granted there is no major Armenian lobby that is accused of giving Kardashians non-stop publicity that can be milked for financial gains year after year (there were unconfirmed rumors that even youngest Kardashian sister was now a billionnaire by branding some cheap chinese/foreign made makeup products), for some reason there is a Kardashian news story on front page of gooogle news almost every other day if not every day for at least a decade or so. So Kim K probably called 'famous for doing nothing' other than making sales record setting so called "IR porn" tape.

I dunno slippery slope, would you then argue that there should be seperate suforum to discuss chatter related to all celebs who also participate in politics?
This comment may also suggest some nostalgic wish as if America was still in the Bush-Cheney era of politics; politics and celeb culture are intertwined in the post Bush-Iraqi Freedom, Obama-Trump elections era. Celebs have also played an important role in progressive socialist tranformation of GOP that is ongoing lately. I digress but Kanye is not just a celeb, he's a successful businessman too whose brand business just got few million $ bailout from Trump led PPP bailout program, active in BLM , denated $2M to BLM and could also be following Trump's footsteps cach his celeb credentials for Presidency.
Kanye was also Trump pick for race summit and worked with Blexit leadership. Some were dismissive of Trump celeb 2016 political aspirations.





Kanye and Trumpp have a lot in common too besides being businessmen/celeb stars with interest in politics, both have championed prison reform, BLM, raised their voices against white supremacy albeit in their own styles. Although Kanye putting quotes aroung "prison reform" may lead to addituonal interpretatons, Kim Kardashian has also has met with top leadership of GOP-Adelson for prison reform and may have led to discovery and appointment of current US National Sec Advisor O'Brien ( reportedly during US government-Sweden stand off for release of Somali-America rapper Rocky A$AP).





On a side note, painting Enquirer as politically unimportant would also be not prudent in current climate in America. Would GOPA leadership have allowed some ragtag gossip mag publisher get millions of $$$ in forgiveable PPP bailout loans while national deficit for 2020 exceeded $6 Trillion and debt went over $26T?

I don't take 50% (maybe more) of what any politician says seriously, including Trump. Kanye, I take even less seriously. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part that that meeting was little more than a show. I really don't want to believe our society has degenerated into a real life Idiocracy.

If I wasn't married with children, I would disappear into the Alaskan wilderness. Next week, I may find humor in this $#@!show again, but right now this is just national suicide. Cities are literally burning and boarded up, and Kanye West is sought for wisdom.
