A tight race is shaping up in Texas between former Vice President Joe Biden and President Trump, according to a new poll.

Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has a slim 1-point lead over Trump in Texas, based on a poll from the left-leaning firm Public Policy Polling released Wednesday. Biden’s lead is within the poll’s 3.1 percentage-point margin of error.

Biden has 47 percent support and Trump has 46 percent support, based on the poll.

The same poll found that amid the coronavirus pandemic, just 46 percent of Texas voters said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, and 49 percent said they disapprove.

The poll also found that 58 percent of Texas voters surveyed said they approve of Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) job performance and just 30 percent said they disapprove.

The Public Policy Polling survey shows a closer race between Biden and Trump in Texas compared to other recent polls. A University of Texas-Texas Tribune poll released last week found the president leading his Democratic challenger by 5 points.

A Democrat hasn’t won a presidential election in Texas since former President Carter in 1976, but the Lone Star State is one of several battleground states Democrats are hoping to flip in November.

The Democratic National Committee expanded its “Battleground Build-Up 2020” program in February to include Texas.

The Public Policy Polling survey was conducted between April 27 and 28. Pollsters surveyed 1,032 Texas voters.

Between the ongoing migrant invasion, Californication and now the mass exodus from NYC and it will be happening sooner than you think.

There are media rumors about internal polls too that ten to be less of fakenews, but not clear yetif this is accurate:

Report: Trump incensed by internal polling that shows him losing to Biden

    April 29, 2020

In an attempt to get President Trump to stop holding daily coronavirus briefings, several advisers shared with him last week internal polling showing him lagging behind former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, in key swing states, three people with knowledge of the matter told The Washington Post.

Trump's poll numbers have been dropping over the last several weeks, and with the coronavirus death toll rising and the economy spiraling, advisers wanted to encourage him to hold fewer briefings and to stop taking questions from reporters. In a call last Wednesday with campaign manager Brad Parscale and Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, Trump was informed of two polls — one from his campaign, the other from the RNC — that showed him behind Biden.

Surely people in taxes cant be stupid to pick a candidate that will probably sink America's economy with the green deal. Shouldn't be a surprise i think demographics do indeed play a role the liberals have being lying though the decade that they are for the minorities when they are just using them as political tool agaisnt the republicans.

Well if they go with Biden they will get a new green deal for sure and that will sink the economy even further. I dont think Biden is this popular though.
