Libertarianism thriving on the state level?

Libertarians have lost some of the national spotlight recently, but in my state individual rights seem so be thriving.

So far in 2010's PA has legalized:

    • Beer and wine sales in grocery stores
    • wine delivery
    • Medical marijuana
    • Casinos
    • fireworks
    • Working towards elimination of property tax.

Next stop, eliminating state income tax?

If you are able to get rid of property tax , I would be interested in the details of the replacement taxes used in its place .

Were the beer & liquor stores state ran before ? I find it interesting there were not already casinos . Here the state likes the tax revenues they get from the suckers that pay the houses cut .

Yes it is much easier to affect change on the state / local level. Honestly trying to reform the federal government is a waste of time. But one can move mountains locally if they are willing to put in the effort.

You have a solid guy, Mike Folmer, leading the charge in your state. He is a good model on gaining a lot of influence and bringing liberty values mainstream.
