Yale shocker: 29.5 million illegal immigrants, 3X higher than Census number

The illegal immigrant population is as high as 29.5 million, far more than the 11 million accepted by experts and the government, according to an explosive new report from three Yale University experts.
“Our results lead us to the conclusion that the widely accepted estimate of 11.3 million undocumented immigrants in the United States is too small. Our model estimates indicate that the true number is likely to be larger, with an estimated 95 percent probability interval ranging from 16.2 to 29.5 million undocumented immigrants,” said their report published by PLOS One, an academic journal.




The authors from Yale School of Management, Mohammad M. Fazel-Zarandi, Jonathan S. Feinstein, Edward H. Kaplan, said the average in their new model is about 22 million, exactly twice the number accepted by the Census Bureau and other experts.
“The mean estimate based on our simulation analysis is 22.1 million, essentially double the current widely accepted estimate,” they wrote.

What are the odds;

I was at a Nevada casino for 3 days in August, the tenants/hotel guests were at least 85% foreigners, non-whites.

The foreigners appeared to be guests staying the weekend , using the pool , not sure what else, but didn't see them so much
gambling, at shows, or at the restaurants.

Thanks for digging up the pics. Not quite what I asked for but it is apparently true that Lewiston ME has added 5000 Africans since 2001 to a town of ~35,000. I don't think it's quite the breathless existential crisis being painted though. As I've said in other immigration related threads, if you really think there's an existential crisis underway, there's only one answer. Start f*ckin'. Since it's a Vatican directed initiative, as you allude to, immigration as a whole is not going to stop so the only solution is the biological one. There is no political solution. There is only the natural one.

Africa accounts for only about ten percent of immigrants to the US. Asia and North America combine for about three quarters of them (with about 37% of all immigrants each)
