Sorry Mitch but you're not going to get any sympathy from me because you got hurt. Personally I wish your injuries were worse.

A deranged Democrat ‘protestor’ broadcast a live stream tonight on Facebook outside of Mitch McConnell’s Kentucky home.

It appears that the protest, which closely resembles harassment, was inspired by Democrat politicians’ targeting of Mitch McConnell to pass far reaching gun control.

The woman can be heard on the video hoping that someone would “just stab the motherf*cker in the heart,” in apparent reference to Mitch McConnell.
Earlier in the clip, the same woman cracks wise about Rand Paul’s life threatening injuries suffered at the hands of a Democrat neighbor.

Just like Harry Reid supposedly tripped off a treadmill?

Am I correct? That was a "thing" right? Cuz a treadmill can't testify...

But we all know it was more likely a cover story for a night that went too rough with a BDSM escort......

    Same for Mitch?

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell underwent successful surgery to repair a fracture in his shoulder — an injury he suffered when he fell at his Kentucky home earlier this month. The surgery occurred Thursday in his hometown of Louisville, a McConnell spokesman said Friday.
"The surgery was performed without incident, and the Leader is grateful to the surgical team for their skill," McConnell spokesman David Popp said in a brief statement.
McConnell's staff did not immediately respond to an email seeking additional details about the procedure.

It is interesting people $#@! on Mitch. The guy has held the line on a number of things. Never had a tax hike. Isn't caving on gun control. Jammed through a bunch of good judge. Most notably he held off a Supreme Court vote for a year. Gorsuch is a great judge.

Mitch isn't ideal but compared to previous leaders like Dole, Lott, and Frist, he is a god amongst men. As far as I am concerned he should serve until he is 100.

    Are you kidding?

You obviously don't know his voting record. Also he won't allow votes to come to the floor nor will he pass a balanced budget.

    1) I compare to the alternatives not some fantasy ideal that has zero chance of happening.

    2) I don't support a balanced budget. That is one of the dumber ideas that Rand Paul constantly pushes. I am for an unbalanced budget but with spending cuts. A balanced budget has nothing to do with small government. LBJ had a balanced budget. Reagan ran huge deficits.

I'd take McConnell over McCain. (That's not saying much, though - I'd take Cthulhu or McCain ...)

Bad Republicans are worse than bad Democrats because the wolf in sheep's clothing is much more dangerous than the exposed wolf. In other words, everyone knows that Democrats are bad for freedom, but bad Republicans fool a lot of people.

And as far as "chances of happening" if you notice that Rand, Thomas, and Amash, and even Mike Lee all have very high freedom index scores.

Massie and Amash are in the House and will never win a state election. Rand has less than zero percent chance of being Majority Leader. Mike Lee has a slightly higher chance of ever having a leadership position but it is still very low. To be in leadership you have to be somewhat centrist within the party. You have to win over Susan Collins and people like Rand Paul. McConnell for all of his faults is far more conservative than any Republican Senate leader in recent history. And he is more conservative than guys like Boehner and Dennis Hastert. And he probably is even more conservative in record in recent years than Paul Ryan.

None of that matters. He consistently votes against freedom and the Constitution and pushes others to do the same.

Sure. If you don't care at all about actually living in free society. Everything can be theoretical and you can always whine about ideological purity.

On the other hand, I take the view that 60 percent of something is preferable to 100 percent of nothing.

You fail at political strategy. Go read some Alinski, Sun Tzu, and take some Leadership Institute and FACL courses. Then you will learn how things actually work: hint, it doesn't involve compromising.
