Thread: Healthcare Bill Passes House, Now on to Senate

  1. #31
Over at Trumpbart, a couple interesting reactions to the vote and Rand's comments on it:

Senator Rand Paul, one of the few sane minds in Washington.
Given the state of the GOP, Rand is the only RINO, but now this is a good thing.
The #Trumptrayal continues. DJT, you promised to fight for us
Rand Paul is a R.I.N.O. and needs to go.
you are an idiot and you need to go hang yourself

Krauthammer on Trumpcare (first couple minutes of the video)

    Guess what?

He's absolutely right - we're on the highway to single-payer, barring some kind of liberty movement orchestrated miracle.

    Guess who's fault it is?

Compromising, backpedaling, shape-shifting weasels like Krauthammer.

He realizes now we're on the road to single-payer?

How about doing something in the last, oh, I dunno, five decades to reverse the creeping socialism?

...O, right, you were too busy telling us "fundamentalists" how we've got to fall in line to win the next election.

    Bastards

Or as normal people call it, free health care

It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

They're claiming that particular change can't be implemented under the special reconciliation procedure being used (which provides for a straight-up majority to pass, bypassing any potential filibuster); and that allowing insurance to be sold across state lines will be implemented in follow-on "phase II / III" legislation. For anyone who believes that will happen, I have a bridge for sale.

    H. L. Mencken said it best:

“Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

...any republicrat politician who gets free/heavily $ubsidized insurance while advocating for 'the free market' for everyone else better stay away from town-hall meetings..unless they enjoy hate-filled abuse...

...of course these stinking republicrats avoid honest town-halls like vampires avoid sunlight....

It is all propaganda and it is obvious. How can people not see it. Do you think people will ever wake up to the media and entertainment industry being their enemy?

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Wanting to keep the mandate is code speak for wanting to make sure the insurance companies are taken care of.

Obamacare repeal faces possible re-vote in House It's an unlikely scenario, but GOP leaders are still hanging onto the bill to ensure it clears a procedural hurdle.

The GOP should burn for this.
There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.
