    Regardless of particular diet, the problem is people consume more in snacks or one meal than they need for entire day. If you eat more calories than you burn you will get fat.

    That's not wrong, but there's more to it. How the body metabolizes different nutients means the type of nutrients you eat can cause serious health problems. It's not just about calories.

    If you eat too much of the best diet for you, you will gain weight. If you count the calories of that premium diet, it is amazing how little you are supposed to eat. Most people eat way too much and think or have been taught that skipping a snack or meal is actually unhealthy. Unless you create a caloric deficit you will not loose weight. Eating less and exercising more fails because metabolism slows because your available fuel is too low. Only way that seems to make sense to me is to keep insulin low and get your body to use stored fat as fuel until it is gone. Once the body has no available carbs/sugars to burn, it burns stored fat. Metabolism stays at normal or even elevated levels because your body knows how much it needs and takes the calores not supplied from your diet from your stored fat. This cannot be accomplished by eat less exercise more.
