For those who own property in the country

There's soon to be an onslaught of buyers looking to escape the city.

Look to history and the affect big-ag had on the family farm... Many of the younger generation of farmers decided it was too much work and not enough reward to keep farming so they sold off their family land and frittered away their legacy over the course of one generation. Sure their kids got their liberal arts degree and they had shiny cars and took vacations but now, just one generation later, it's these children of privilege who are looking for land in order to get away from their own kind.

If you choose to sell please consult your neighbors and your family and for Gods sake please use any money you glean to buy more land even further out away from the problem children..

Things will be different, try to surround yourself with people you know and trust.

above all else, property tax and farm regulations are driving small mom and pop farms under

'We endorse the idea of voluntarism; self-responsibility: Family, friends, and churches to solve problems, rather than saying that some monolithic government is going to make you take care of yourself and be a better person. It's a preposterous notion: It never worked, it never will. The government can't make you a better person; it can't make you follow good habits.' - Ron Paul 1988

I will never sell . But that means I have to come up with property tax money every year and whoever I leave it to will need to also . So keep in mind that when you get old and work less and have less income you will always have the high costs of utilities and property tax .

I hear land is real cheap in far west Texas near the Mexico border. I hear it's also no country for old men.

Hold on to the property. Rent it out.

It won't take very long to get them home but it won't be overnight either but Iraq says they can't stay and they are coming home just like Trump said.

Maybe they leave it barren enough here that you can buy an acre under 90K.
