Nixon to Biden: 50 Years of "Transitory" Inflation

It has been 50 years since President Nixon proclaimed that "We are all Keynesians now." The results of allowing government (via its central bank - The Federal Reserve) to create dollars out-of-thin-air have now been produced. Decade after decade we experience relentless inflation, coupled with an expansion in the size and scope of government, the likes of which humanity has never seen before. The Keynesian dream is coming to an end.

A good segment from Ron Paul around the 14:10 mark. He talks about civil liberties and the hypocrisy of lecturing other nations while the violations are so rampant in the US.

in 1973.......... OPEC greatly increased the price of a barrel of oil.
between roughly 1943 and 1973 we got an ongoing 'sweetheart'
deal where the price of oil was deliberately low. the Saudis had
held back on price hikes, the postwar boom after ww2 was in part
due to the price of oil, a basic commodity. we won't experience
this ever again. 1905 to 2005 is the AMERICAN CENTURY. We are
a superpower over much of it. Peak oil is very real. Canadian sands
and/or shale only buys us time. Factor this inside the equation!!!!

I guess in a sense the inflation is indeed transitory
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Not with this currency. What's transitory are wages and savings.
