Ahhh! I listened to it an hour ago and now I have that stupid opening line stuck in my head.

Years ago I liked the song, Imagine. I thought it was a peace song. That song is really the $#@! from Stalin and Mao covered with frosting. JL is the darling of the woke.

Sorry about that earworm...it's a $#@!ty song to begin with, but I figured the wokesters would have landed on it with both feet.

It is...it describes a world I wouldn't want to live in at all.

    The latter explains the former.

Yeah, I remember the song. I remember seeing the title on the back of the album cover in the record store. It didn't get a lot of airplay. Patti Smith did a louder one, back when punk was really punk.

EDIT: Actually, the studio version sounds much more obnoxious.

40 years ago when I was in high skool, we had a jukebox in the cafegymatorium that we were allowed to play during lunch.

The favorite tune, The Stroke, was deemed profane by the jailers, so it was banned.

As a result, there was a B-side of a John & Yoko record that had the sounds of them screwing that we constantly played in protest.

Management allowed the latter, but still banned the former.

    John & Yoko sucked.
