As soon as Republicans get control of government they will do something about that.

Does not seem to matter which party, spending always grows. I’m glad taxes are down, but we need to stop spending.

Just goes to show ya what bi-partisan cooperation can accomplish, when both wings of the party work together.

Too much MAGA, you can stop now.

Impossible with all the RINOs and neocons from the MAGA-Adelson-Jarvanka-Bolton wing of the party pushing the buttons behind the scenes.

Has trump said anything about cutting spending? Anything from anyone in the GOP? Maybe this was temporary and it’s going down soon?

Or maybe its just inevitable happening i.e. with gradual growth in size of govt plus inflation that one day, the US govt will spend more than it did in 08-09. It just happened to be 10 years later. This is no different than what a Clinton, McCain, Romney etc etc would have given us. Lastly, Trump has never claimed to be a fiscal conservative, he has promised stimulus packages and increase in spending, this is indeed another campaign promise fulfilled.

He wants to cut $20 billion but spend another $20 billion on the wall and $50 billion more on defense.
