You should develop a plan to create a free state and move there, but this time, keep it a damned secret.

No harshness intended, but sadly that's how it's gotta be.

if you create a free, prosperous society, the locusts come and f uck it up. Every. Damn. Time.

Still a bit early on those returns. I clicked your link there (after I realized the whole damn thing was a link, lol).

Florida was the same way in 2016. Looked surely blue until the rednecks brought their ballots down the dirt roads and back-water regions to the counting offices. here's hoping AF doesn't have to pack up and move.

Republicans aren't great by any stretch of the imagination, but the other party is a highly aggressive organism that knows no bounds.

    That they do.

And prosperity and plenty creates weak men who will not defend what they built and after a while the whole thing comes crashing down, only to be built back up again after enough hardship and adversity create enough strong men to do it.

    And so it goes...

Oh yeah, that's always a concern, Massholes all around.

The difference is that, NH democrats were almost tolerable and understand NH as being unique.

The one trend that will continue is that new people will flood into the big coastal cities, and the leftists who cheered the demise of their own communities will flee to foul new territory.

Nope, just very busy, at work you know.

Things looked grim, but the Bolshevik opposition in the governor's race just conceded, the NH GOP held onto the State Senate, I'm trying to find out about the State Executive Council and NH House control.

My federal representation still sucks ass, but on a state level, we dodged a bullet.

Obviously it is a decision that is very large and difficult to make but you might want to at least begin considering what other state you might move to some day.

I have already picked one that I intend to move to when I can leave the one I am currently stuck in.

Looks like central Oklahoma and Arizona both suffering from Democrat migration... previously safe GOP areas now majority Dem.

Just one question keeps irking me, not just about New Hampshire, but . . .

How exactly does one pull off a win for Governorship and yet not see comparable results in the House?

Now now. I know straight-ticket voting is a plague upon society, but, I've come to expect it. The math is . . . weird. How do you win the Governorship with 40,000 votes over your closest opponent and then lose both house seats by 30-40,000 votes?

New Hampshire must be gerrymandered as f'k.

    Hey AF,

What do you think about moving to the Northern parts of Scandinavia. I think it's too cold there for Democrats(liberals), although they may claim they are in charge there.
If you consider moving there, I'm with you. Nothing better than some northern lights while you're having your champagne and caviar. Although, that gets old after a while. I'm currently investigating which cut of beef is the best. So far I like preparing bavette the best.. A very nice cut of beef. In any case, in those parts of Scandinavia they have some awesome beasts that you can eat. Good fishing as well, very large cod can be caught there as well as giant halibut (GIANT).

    What do ya say ?

Sununu (R) 302,000 votes statewide for governor

    NH US Dist. 1:
    Edwards (R) 130,000

    +

    NH US Dist. 2:

    Steven Negron (R) 118,000

= 248,000 (~54,000 republican supporters left the US congress spots blank?)

Now the democrats, Molly Kelly (D) 262,000 votes statewide for governor

    NH US#1
    Chris Pappas (D) 155,000

    NH US#2
    Annie Kuster (D) 155,000

= 310,000 (~68,000 democratic party supporters decided not to choose anything for governor?)

This is making a huge assumption that people would have voted along party lines, and hat tip to the state of New Hampshire if you honestly have that many voters willing to vote across party lines, or just a *hit ton of registered independents. Either New Hampshire folk are really openminded, or they have an epidemic of schizophrenia in that state.

I can understand winning statewide but not regional seats. (urban areas). I don't understand how you fail at winning even one out of two regional seats when you take the statewide seat.

If they were looking for a split government, it might have made more sense to split the Governor's office and the state legislature. I suppose the cheating could have gone either way.

Either the republicans pulled a bunch of votes out of their ass to take the Governor's office. Or democrats pulled a bunch of votes out of their ass to win both US House seats, but I get the sense that something isn't adding up.

I suspect leftist voter fraud but I don't know why they let the Republicans have the state offices if they had the power to take the federal ones.

In any case I also believe that many Never Trumpers and moderates didn't want divided government exactly, they wanted to protest Trump because they are insane.

Overall America still has better leaders than most Americans deserve. Not you guys but overall the system works, for a lot of people, in a good way. It could surely be better. However, if you look at the average American in terms of independence, self reliance and general skills in life... When compared to your average poor country person, I think the US does pretty good with the people who end up in power.

I am quite aware that things could be much worse, that is what I am afraid of, the left is moving into crazy territory and it isn't scaring people away fast enough, if they do get power I don't think we will be as lucky as we have been.

I believe in the free market. Especially today socialistic wet dreams will not work. There is freedom to lose, I wouldn't worry about the financial part. Worry about the personal stuff. 1st, 2nd and 4th amendments (and a few others). Fight for these. They are what makes America great. Above all these are the things that once lost will not be regained.
