I dunno, she did win Freedom Medal from a major liberty champion tied to MAGA's top richest donor.

Gabbard received an award from Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, a New Jersey-based rabbi with close ties to casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson (the largest donor to the Republican Party). A year before Gabbard attended Boteach’s gala dinner and received his “Champion of Freedom” Award, Boteach published full-page ads in leading U.S. newspapers in which he accused Obama’s national security adviser, Susan Rice, of being responsible for the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
In 2015, she spoke at a conference of Christians United for Israel – an organization whose leader and founder, Pastor John Hagee, is a strong supporter of West Bank settlements.

Turns out Hillary Clinton said Republicans — not Russians — were grooming Tulsi Gabbard

    Published: Oct 24, 2019
In a curious turn of events, a number of major news organizations ran corrections Wednesday night over week-old reports that sparked a testy war of words between Hillary Clinton and Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.
Last week, a number of media organizations, including the New York Times, CNN and Politico, ran reports saying Clinton told the podcast “Campaign HQ with David Plouffe” that Russians were “grooming” a female Democratic candidate — widely assumed to be Gabbard — for a third-party run to play a potential spoiler in the 2020 election.
But apparently Clinton meant Republicans — not Russians — were doing the grooming.

I think that the Biden endorsement is worse. Mitt is a piece of $#@!, but I don't get pedo vibes from him.

Biden must have promised her a cabinet position with his endorsement.

Without the libertarian base, Rand Paul is still a star in the GOP. YAL also went all in on GOP activism.

The entire libertarian fanaticism with Tulsi is completely misplaced. You're only trading in Trump's decent economics for Tulsi's decent foreign policy. She talks a good game about pulling out of wars, so did Obama. I wonder how many boners there would be here if Tulsi announced a 18 month afghan peace deal.
I agree that endorsing a party nominee doesn't guarantee support on that person's amendments. I was getting at the idea that Sen. Paul believed his endorsement of Mitt Romney would garner him acceptance within his own party, which would show his allegiance to the party for the purpose of gaining partisan support of his amendments. If he plays their game, then maybe they'll be more sensitive to playing at his table, is the sentiment. But, of course, that plan blew up in his face, especially from the last amendment which failed 90-3 ("No") on cutting wasteful spending in the Coronavirus Relief Package.

In the end, Sen. Paul is just a number with the letter "R" to the Republican Party. They don't care about being Republicans until Democrats are in control. They continually use him, even when he plays by their rules (as in his atrocious endorsements of establishment candidates from the GOP). That was my point.

"May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in moment of great crisis, stood up to their politicians, the opinion-makers, and the Establishment, and saved their country." - Dr. Ron Paul

The people who actually support Rand and pay attention to his actions and accomplishments know better.

Don't even know what your alternative suggestions for Rand are but if its to be an independent or LP, you can kindly exist stage left with those obscure ideas.
