Because of the "21 feet rule" I know some police think that in a scenario where a cop is aiming a firearm at a man with a potential knife 30 feet away, the cop is in more danger.

3rd Amendment, they are acting as a Standing Army within our borders. Their real job is to protect the rich from the poor, or from another point of view, the thieves from their victims.

Belief, Money, and Violence, yet again.

To control those who conduct violence on your behalf, you must use a different method of control. Do not use Violence to control your Dept of Violence, you use Money and Belief. The poor have no ability to assert control with Money or Belief against those who conduct Violence. This allows you to keep the poor in poverty as well as stupid, thus, always under absolute control.

Cops are people. People are not perfect. In fact, I believe we have a number of police officers as Forum Members.

What is happening is nothing short of a Divide and Conquer strategy. People are taught to not trust cops due to the laws implemented by crony politicians that are enforced by the cops. Cops also see the most despicable acts of humanity at its worst, and that weighs heavily on them as people. What they learn is to not trust anyone who is pretty much not also a cop. Parts of what they conclude are correct. There are some very despicable people out there. But the majority of us are not. We are just trying to survive, and for those who have a foothold, actually enjoy a bit of life when work isnt sucking your soul out of you. Those honest hard working people are the real victims, who get harassed by cops because their bosses, the crony politicians, have told them to do so.

As mentioned in my post above, Belief, Money, Violence. The way you control a cop is not to threaten them with violence. Thats just stupid. The crony politicians authorized the cops to have guns, so what are they gonna do, have someone else they gave a gun threaten a cop? Not when there are more efficient ways to control the behavior of both cops and the majority of people. The most effective way is with Money. Ever see a cop try to arrest a politician for the same crimes they charge us with day in and day out? Of course not. That person, that crony politician has power to get the cop fired, and cut off the life blood money that the cop needs to survive. What the cop sees day in and day out by the depraved damaged humans out there and what they do to each other, thats where Belief comes into play. It validates the authority the cop holds over others in their minds. The law here doesnt really matter, as what happens is the subconscious mind now accepts that they need to act as a form of authority in order to maintain civil order. Trouble here is that it is a "foot in the door", and once that measure of thinking begins to take place in their minds, then there is much less objection to more excessive acts of authority. You let your kid watch too much tv and eat too much fast food, they take that authority to the next level and start to confiscate kids from their parents. Things wont stop there. Every act of authority continues the cycle of self validation to the point that they wont be happy until we are all in prison cells and the state runs everything. That is where the road of good intentions ultimately leads.

But I think we will collapse as a country long before then. And not all cops are fully on board with what we all know is going on in this country. There is no need to call me out for being a "Cop Apologist". Im not. Cops are not above the law, and as long as they operate within reasonable guidelines, I dont have much issue with what they do. MSM has had a field day with "cop shoots <insert vic here>" because that is how MSM survives. MSM survives on provoking strong emotional responses in people so viewers become emotionally dependent on MSM to report the next scary thing that people are told to be afraid of. Thing is, if you pull a cop out of his uniform, like when they are off duty, for the most part, most of them act as civilized as we do and are also very uncomfortable with the position they are put in. They know there is something wrong when they are taught that normal behavior is an extremist activity, and fear us fighting back as much as we are of them coming after us. Dig deeper. Someone is benefiting greatly from the conflict between police and the rest of society. That would be those who sign the checks of the crony politicians. The very top echelon. They are the real enemy of both the police and civilized society. They are the enemy of humanity as a whole.
