In a bizarre and deeply disturbing Tweet, Christine Pelosi, the daughter of Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, has responded to Senator Rand Paul's (R-KY) announcement that he had tested positive for coronavirus by applauding the violent and life-threatening 2017 attack on Senator Paul by his neighbor, Rene Boucher.

Responding to a Tweet from a Washington Post reporter that Senator Paul's "biggest personal concern was not getting this because his wife has MS," Speaker Pelosi's daughter retweeted with the comment, "Rand Paul's Neighbor was right."

Boucher's attack left Senator Paul with six broken ribs, three displaced fractures, and months of intense pain. Last August, Senator Paul underwent additional surgery to remove part of his lung damaged by the attack.

According to the Speaker of the House's daughter's Twitter profile, she is a "Proud mama, wife, daughter, patriot."

The younger Pelosi has not responded to press requests for comment, nor has she deleted her Tweet applauding violence against a sitting Member of the United States Senate.

I think there’s some confusion about this.
People seem to be implying that Rand made the comment about not wanting to give the virus to his wife who has MS - but it was actually Mitt Romney.

As I understand it - in an effort to make Rand Paul look like a villain - someone speaking to Romney raised the issue of Rand’s positive test result and Romney being at a lunch Rand attended. Poor, pitiful Romney answered with this “Oh-woe-is-me” response. “Boo Hoo. Look what Rand Paul has done to me now! Whine, whimper, mooooan…”

It’s Romney’s wife that’s previously claimed to have MS, not Rand’s wife.

But then, stupidity and blind hatred have no logic.

Regardless, Pelosi’s daughter is depraved and twitter should be banning her for condoning violence.

Tweet has been deleted by Twitter. Probably not because they thought it violated TOS, but because the responses were going against her. Removing the Tweet removed a way to see the replies.

For some reason, this story by Dominick Mastrangelo of the Washington Examiner refers to Rand's stalker as "the man who allegedly attacked the Kentucky senator in 2018." Mentions that Rand suffered six broken ribs, but merely a "bruised lung", leaving unmentioned that part of his lung had to be removed.

The fallout I'm seeing from Rand is this story that he went to a Senate gym while awaiting test results for COVID19 confirmation. People seem to be pissed that he went to a public place rather than practice safe quarantine social distancing.
