Never say never, once in a bluemoon Democrats can be converted and can become "our allies":

"As he (Trump) launched his campaign, the conservative National Review reported that he was a registered Democrat from 2001 to 2009 and praised a Canadian-style universal health care system. Party affiliation in the United States is usually changed by ticking a box while registering to vote and doesn't imply any financial contribution. However Trump has also shown a willingness to contribute considerable sums to Democratic causes - including Hillary Clinton's campaign for Senate in 2002."

There are always individual exceptions but to think that any significant number of current Demoncrats who haven't left after the recent shift into insanity will ever convert back to sanity is ridiculous.

It has also been questioned whether Trump was ever sincere in his political positions before he ran for office or whether he was pleasing those that had to be pleased in order to further his career and prepare for his Presidential run.

First, I don't buy the premise of putting in same sentence the term 'sanity' and the party that championed the dumbest blunder in US history of Iraq war for a decade and just this year is sending $40B gift to a foreign country that never stood with us on frontlines in any of our wars in their neighborhood.
Secondly, list of Democrats who are joining GOP-Adelson/MAGA wing is already quite long:

    Sheldon Adelson, primo neocon
    Dershowitz
    Lindsey Graham
    Lieberman
    Ivanka
    Kushner
    Pipes
    Kanye
    Candice Ownes
    Kardashians
    Vann Jones, CPAC 2109 ally
    ....

    Need I go on?

Did I say the GOP was sane? We are not the GOP.

And the GOP is still saner than the party of pedophiles and trannies that starts just as many or more wars for Israel.

Trump does have a lot of less desirable people around him and he is far from perfect himself but the left is much worse and we can make use of Trump much more than we can the left.

Have you been paying attention? We're approaching the end-game. This is a fight for survival. We're on the edge of the abyss.

If we don't vote, how can we expect to win??

My position won't be any different later.

Trump has given occasional lip service to the freaks but so far his actions have opposed their agenda. (like the trannie ban)

The left has completely lost its way and has surrendered the few issues it was ever better about to the right (like the 1stA), there is no hope for an alliance with them other than a few individuals who might buck the trend, the right is moving our direction and Trump is our best chance at this point.

Sanders can't win, he threw all his support against Trump in the last election and lost. Who knows maybe he is gaining support with younger people but that doesn't win elections in my experience.

Nik could be right but I am getting more .30 Cal ammo just in case . Just think if he did win . The locusts on the northeast coast and west coast would fan out and try to steal everything because they would think it all belongs to them now . Normally I am perfectly OK with just tomahawking an enemy to death but in the case of dirty little communists I do not really want to get that close , Lord knows what that vermin is carrying .

Bernie Sanders whole platform is to tax rich people more what the $#@! does he think printing money does? Is it a tax on the people with no money or does it devalue the money that people have? Not to mention most of the tax revenue already comes from rich people. it's an argument only people who don't know how the world works can think that it's true but Sanders is disgusting and if the Democrats nominate him they deserve the defeat they get.

I agree with people who say that they are trying to divide us. I hold out hope that we can still unite. However, I feel that I have been slapped (metaphorically) a few times. I know SJWs are indoctrinated to attack, but whether their hatred comes from within or was stirred by propaganda, a slap is a slap.

It's virtually a given at this point. One of the major purposes of the msm.

It may sound overly optimistic in 2019, but I think in the end we will unite and attack the responsible parties that have been sowing the division for decades/centuries/millennia. For now, we are stuck in what feels like endless efforts trying to convince common folk they are being duped into a hate filled paradigm through the daily news and history books, where everywhere they look, is a supposed enemy, whether the group they are supposed to hate is white, asian, hispanic, gay, trans, rich, poor, democrat, republican, libertarian, socialist, jew, gentile, christian, muslim, on and on. We are supposed to be using up all of our time fighting each other, instead of correctly pointing out who is behind the mischief.

Once we get to that point, it's game over, but until then, it's going to be one heck of a ride until that point is reached.

Absolutely. There is a much much bigger game at hand here.

On page 23 of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s long-awaited report into Russia collusion during the 2016 election, it is revealed that the Russian company responsible for attempting to collude with the Trump campaign also supported Bernie Sander’s campaign for President.
In the report, it quotes a message seeming to come from the Russian-based Internet Research Company (IRA):
“Main idea: Use opportunity to criticize Hillary [Clinton] and the rest (except Sanders and Trump – we support them.”

The IRA is the company responsible for the “Russian internet trolls” that produced and promoted content meant to sway the results of the election. And in their communications, they make it clear that it isn’t just President Trump they support, but also Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
This means that many of the supporters for Sanders’ massive campaign that nearly defeated Hillary Clinton could simply be trolls, according the fake news narrative of the last 2.5 years.
It is unlikely that many media outlets will spend much time discussing this, as the narrative appears to have already been made that it is Trump that Russians wanted elected.

As long as Trump controls the narrative he should have no problem getting re-elected. Thats pretty much what he did last time around.

The Sanders/AOC Dems are coming into power, like it or not. When a liberal like Trump makes their hair stand on end, you know $#@! has gotten real.

I'll vote for Frump simply because he pushes their "act bat $#@! crazy" button, and their own true colors will be their own undoing.

    Strange alliances, man...

    I'm not.

I've become convinced worse is better.

    Bernie/Buttplug 2020.

That might just be enough to reach the tipping point.

This current system is not sustainable.

WI has a point though, if the left takes power they will try to turn down the heat on the frog, with Trump they have lost control and are exposing themselves sufficiently that we might get dissolution and separation.
