Exclamation Rand Paul - Aid Pkg Amendment

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgntp

Rand had an amendment attached to this aid package that called for US withdrawal from Afghanistan and to end reconstruction there. Does anyone know if that was passed along with this?

We're being governed ruled by a geriatric Alzheimer patient/puppet whose strings are being pulled by an elitist oligarchy who believe they can manage the world... imagine the utter maniacal, sociopathic hubris!

It failed, only got three votes...

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...ronavirus-bill

Paul’s amendment, which garnered only three votes, aimed to end fraudulent child tax credit claims by requiring a Social Security number. Paul’s amendment would have provided Trump the authority to transfer existing federal funding to pay for coronavirus funding, and it would have ended U.S. military involvement in Afghanistan by the end of the year.

“I ask my colleagues to stop wasting money in this time of crisis,” Paul urged lawmakers in a Senate floor speech before the vote. “Do your jobs and prioritize our precious resources. It is our job and our responsibility to conserve the resources.”

A bigger stimulus bill is in the works.

Senate Republicans are crafting a plan that some estimate could cost as much as $1 trillion to address individual workers, small businesses, and key industries, such as the airlines, who have been hit hard by the economic slowdown caused by the need to close businesses to stop the spread of the virus.

What’s he going to run for? Governor of Kentucky? USA might not make it until 2024

Right, how do you fix this train wreck?

That’s the million dollar question. How do you fix the Roman Empire? Spanish Empire? Chinese? British? Soviet Empires? When the corruption runs to the core you don’t fix it. You live under tyranny or allow it to collapse (or both). We will see what happens but you better have a plan for your family & community. This thing could get nasty real quick.

On a positive note, I cannot thank God enough that Trump got elected. If Hillary was President during this crisis the Swat Teams would be rounding up armed Patriots as we speak. Still might happen but more time = more chance of survival.

And that's why we must get him reelected.

A managed decline will be much better for us and for liberty than a hostile takeover.

^^^ And there you have it ^^^

We have been on a “managed decline” for well over a hundred years, longer counting signing of the centralist constitution.

20 years ago, what is being done today would have been unheard of, completely rejected, NO Republican would have put up with what is happening today.

“Managed decline”, slowly acclimating the people until there is truly nothing left, not that there is much left anyway.

Like I said, today’s “republicans” are obama’s democrats. Individual liberty has been replaced with nationalism/socialism for the “greater good”.

We have not been in a managed decline, we have been on a deliberate kamikaze course.

Trump is turning things around so we are better off when things collapse, you would crash things now and the communists would take over.

The biggest Omnibus in the entire history of this nation, one that obama could only have wet dreams about.

Keep toking it, Swordy, I suppose it is the only way you can cope. That, or you are a political junky and not truly concerned about individual liberty, freedom and fiscal responsibility.

The Senate will clear the bill later Wednesday for President Trump’s signature. The measure will provide free coronavirus testing, paid sick leave, and paid family leave for some workers.

How are we going to pay for that, and more importantly, why should it be the federal government's job to help those on sick leave when we have churches and other private organizations that can take care of those needs?
