This if true could lead to transfer of stealth US tech to foreign powers and likely would cause strong US reaction. There was very strong US reaction when US military tech was sold to China by our closest ally Israel years ago.

• Russia claimed Syria captured a US Tomahawk cruise missile from the strike that took place on April 14, but it's unclear how they would have or why it's mentioning it now.
• Russia says it will study the missile to advance their own munitions, but an expert says it's unlikely Russia can learn anything from whatever it found.
• Instead, the expert says Russia's claim is likely an effort to "embarrass" the US.

Tomahawk missiles were developed in the 60s and fielded in the 70s. It’s old tech. Some of the avionics have been updated, but nobody is gleaning anything major from a Tomahawk missile. Certainly not any kind of stealth tech.

There are other missile platforms that are far more advanced and do incorporate stealth tech. Some of which may have been used in Syria. If it’s a Tomahawk they have, then there will be nothing to really glean from it. Especially if it has any impact damage, which it should.

Some alternative hypothesis state that during these strikes, both the US and Russian militaries are using these as live fire testing. The Russians can test defenses, and the US can observe how effective those defenses are.

LOL arrogance or self defense? Trump has been benchmarking and building up for Iran since he became president. What did he do when he first got elected? MOAB- a bomb that was designed to bust bunkers- it was rendered ineffective with nuclear hardening. So what does Trump do next? He tests out his delivery system, the delivery system is machine learning, every time they launch those missles its more benchmarking. It looks like they want to bomb Irans underground nuclear hardened bunkers, and then let Israel bomb the $#@! out of Iran, the same thing Bolton suggested 20 years ago.
