    It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

    But he needs an excuse to maintain the police state and/or increase its powers.

    Most people seem unconcerned with violations of our privacy (even walking around with surveillance equipment, cell phones). Maybe until they find out that you could be labelled a potential “terrorist” for no other reason than:
    The books you read;
    The music you listen to;
    Even your preferred flavour of politrics.

The Fusion Centers have been criticized as violations of civil liberties and a danger to separation of federal and local governments, and the abuses of these centers predate #BlueLeaks, including targeting of protesters of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Most infamously, in 2009 it was revealed that the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) was targeting supporters of third party candidates, Ron Paul supporters, anti-abortion activists, and “conspiracy theorists” as potential domestic extremists.
    During the Obama presidency, fusion centers shifted their focus from "terrorism" to "all hazards/all crimes" (which includes every activity that could be deemed a "hazard").

    The two Regional Intelligence Analysts 'surf the net' & other open sources daily looking for information that may be of help in securing our region, state, & nation. This information is almost unlimited in scope & requires a great deal of time & effort to analyze. The data mining software will free up our analysts from sorting through the vast amount of available information & greatly enhance their efficiency. Our analysts are Az TLOs & collaborate daily with the ACTIC. Purchase of this software will enhance their information collection capabilities on one end, and provide for effective intelligence analysis on the other - intelligence that can be readily shared with the ACTIC & our other partners [sic].

    There are also "fusion centres" in 6 European countries, Belgium (CUTA), Germany (GTAZ and GETZ), Italy (CASA), Netherlands (NCTV), Spain (CITCO), and the UK (JTAC): https://icct.nl/app/uploads/2019/02/...-Countries.pdf

    Tell that to the victims of armed antifa punks terrorizing Portland Or.
    Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

    "security force farce"

    (The story is from 2017, but it seems to be typical of what is to be expected from the FBI.)

    [QUOTE=Occam's Banana;7038544]Apparently, the ACLU, ADL, and SPLC will be among those helping to identify domestic "extremists" and "terrorists" so they can be rooted out.

    Who has oversight on these organizations? ... Never mind, back in the box in room 101.
