He opposed the UN program to eradicate small pox - a program that successfully elimin

Someone posted this claim, is this accurate and if so, how to explain?

He opposed the UN program to eradicate small pox - a program that successfully eliminated a disease that killed thousands every year.

He wants to deregulate ID controls in the finance industry - yes he actually claims that your identity is less likely to be stolen if banks do not need to make you prove who you are to use your account.

Frankly I have some concerns with a few aspects of libertarianism, and this is one of them. A related issue: Overuse of anti-biotics by anyone potentially harms everyone by creating super-bugs. How can a free market protect people from pandemics like this?

Maybe this is what you are looking for?

Perhaps this is where this idea came from. It's a bit of a convoluted argument actually and quite a stretch to link his future policies with an event that happened already in the past.

No one says government can never solve any problem, only that government will never do it the most efficient way and will introduce more problems along the way (corruption, theft, etc.).

Compare any argued medical/vaccine success with the HPV debacle in TX, where an under-tested vaccine with a sole supplier was mandated for all school girls entering 8th grade by the Governor, who just happens to receive campaign contributions from that sole supplier.

Private industry and competition will solve these problems better than government, every time.

Did you read _The Law_ yet? You're asking these questions but if you want answers there are better places to go than a forum.

What, banks are too stupid to make you prove who you are unless the government tells them they have to? This kind of straw man doesn't even deserve a response.

    Smallpox fraud

Man is That Paul smart. Another run around chicken little syndrome. I would never have my children vaccinated, it would be criminal to do so. If one studies enough one will learn it is all bull$#@! about diseases being eradicated with vaccines. In every case diseases increased after massive vaccinations and every time the diseases where already on the decline. Smallpox is rarely fatal. Man what a cool way to spread fear and make loads of money and get people sicker to make more money. Don't comment till you do some research please.

These studies suggest that the goal of complete immunization is actually counterproductive, a notion underscored by instances in which epidemics followed complete immunization of entire countries. Japan experienced yearly increases in small pox following the introduction of compulsory vaccines in 1872. By 1892, there were 29,979 deaths, and all had been vaccinated. [20]

Early in this century, the Philippines experienced their worst smallpox epidemic ever after 8 million people received 24.5 million vaccine doses; the death rate quadrupled as a result. [21] In 1989, the country of Oman experienced a widespread polio outbreak six months after achieving complete vaccination.[22] In the U.S. in 1986, 90% of 1300 pertussis cases in Kansas were "adequately vaccinated." [23] 72% of pertussis cases in the 1993 Chicago outbreak were fully up to date with their vaccinations.[24]

Generally accepted facts about smallpox include:

Smallpox is highly contagious and could spread rapidly, killing millions.

Smallpox can be spread by casual contact with an infected person.

The death rate from smallpox is thought to be 30 percent.

There is no treatment for smallpox.

The smallpox vaccine will protect a person from getting the disease.

As it turns out, these "accepted facts" are not the "real facts", so we will refer to them as "myths".

There are huge arguments in the Medical community over how big these threats are.

The doctors can't even decide among themselves if smallpox is really a danger right now.

Then you have the problem of politicized medicine and contributions to politicians from pharmaceuticals who then mandate forced vaccinations.

All we need is a pharmaceutical company in China to give contribution through an American subsidiary to politicians, and then the politicians mandate that we take vaccines made in China for our own good..

Easy, it is being done now. Anonymous gold bank accounts only linked to a email address. One is given an 16 digit number password and when one signs on the computer, it asks you for only four randomly chosen of those numbers in what order like what is the 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 15th ones that way no key logger program or some one looking over your shoulder every knows all 16 digits. A real good time to load this up with gold. Also goldmoney.com has gold and silver. I'd use only swiss vaults.

    https://pecunix.com/money.refined...tur.gbics..as refered to above

Using Pecunix is simple. Create a free account through the Pecunix website, using your e-mail address as your account name. You can immediately access all the benefits of the Pecunix system, from shopping to retailing to exchanging currencies. It's that easy.

interesting, I always saw it the opposite way. We have a lot of these problems because the government pharmaceutical cartel keeps pushing more and more unnecessary drugs on us.

My good friend has a baby girl that had a brain tumor at the age of 1 year old. Every time they went to see a doctor, they were asked "Has she been given vaccines". Finally, he got wierded out and asked why they kept getting asked that question about the 1 year old's tumor. One of the doctors gave him a little "pssst....come over here" and let him know that the entire medical community has a sneaking suspicion that the vaccines will cause cancer.

    Also, google "vaccine" and "autism"

    You'll get a bazillion results.

Why couldn't such vaccinations be financed voluntarily?
Why should any government be involved in such an activities?

RP doesn't want to ban vaccinations. He just doesn't want to force you to finance it if you think that it is a bad idea and you think that you have better purposes for you money. (As far as I understand him anyway).

just curious if anyone is actually in the medical profession? It seems like everybody thinks ALL drugs/vaccines are bad. Also, that everything that's "natural" can cure you right up from all your woes.
