    Thumbs up Moms For Liberty

Moms for Liberty welcomes all moms, dads, grandparents and community members that have a desire to stand up for parental rights at all levels of government.

Our founders are Tiffany and Tina, moms on a mission to stoke the fires of liberty. As former school board members, they witnessed how short-sighted and destructive policies directly hurt children and families. Now they are using their first-hand knowledge and experience to unite parents who are ready to fight those that stand in the way of liberty.

This is the correct approach. Homeschoolers started the battle against government-school political indoctrination by simply opting out. They are brave pioneers but the war does not end with homeschooling. Until the government schools feel the pressure to actually educate children -- instead of just abusing their position of trust and taking it as an opportunity to implement Marxist brainwashing -- they will continue doing what they're doing, and they will largely succeed. So the seed of resistance that began with homeschooling must sprout into material resistance against the corruption within government-school education.

Eventually, the goal is to see all government-schools shuttered and replaced with private education where the demands of customers (parents & students) are served by educators who are producing a product that actually benefits their customers, rather than ivory-tower monopolists ordering parents & students to sit down, shut up, and think what they're told to think. But the absolute worst place to fight this battle is in the legislature. The legislature understands nothing about education and the problems of government education monopoly. Legislatures are staffed by elected politicians who only understand one currency: votes. They will support whatever policy gets them re-elected, no matter how braindead it is. Love it or hate it, that's what representative government means. So we shouldn't be shocked when leftist policies get enacted in our schools because the Left has brainwashed the public through mass media to believe these policies are "inclusive" "enlightened" and "non-bigoted."

I have seen videos of street protest tactics being deployed in school board meetings and this has no future, no possibility of success whatsoever. You will change nothing using these kinds of braindead street tactics. The only way to change the school boards is to make the board members feel the potential liability for their decisions -- both legal and in the court of popular opinion. And the only way to make them feel the heat of potential liability is to engage their decision-making processes at the procedural level, which is exactly what is happening in the OP video. Of course, we also need a network of legal support and even political support. It's an interlocking system, just like the interlocking system that the radical Left constructed a century ago in order to take over American culture from within and impose Progressivism through generations of indoctrination. But don't think for a moment there are any quick-and-easy solutions to our current quandary. Applied elbow-grease is the only real solution. If American conservatives really practice the traditional values they preach, then this should be no sweat... just put in the leg work, and let's get this done!

Now if we can only get others to forward the link via social, text, email, etc… surely there are disgusted folks out there who are not aware and feel alone.

Public schools were made to make everyone a compliant factory worker- their only purpose is to make everyone a slave to TPTB.

I was completely homeschooled- actually what is called "unschooled" meaning I was allowed to dive into whatever I was interested in. Now I help a private school org that allows students complete freedom in their learning pursuits- the results are phenomenal.

You say that a lot, but the evidence shows otherwise. Maybe 50 years ago. Now, most public school graduates think that they are too good to work in factories. It seems that the goal of the public schools is to produce whiney brats who become gender studies majors and demand permanent unemployment checks because of covid.

How is producing a generation of SJWs who believe themselves too good to put in honest day's labor, the same as teaching them to be a factory worker? Our country would be better off with a better work ethic.

I think it's time that you updated your slogan, Bro.

I see where both you and Ender are coming from. Thinking along the terms of what Ender said, most [not all] people comply and simply do as they’re told. Even among factory workers, union workers, who don’t necessarily compete, but will fight tooth and nail for higher wages for doing the same mundane routine over and again, not looking for ways to innovate and actually compete. Perhaps there is merit due to overly-repetitive work, but they would sooner accuse China and other countries of being enemies who take their jobs, demanding more and more, higher and higher wages, instead of thinking innovatively. Combine that with MIC and other .gov contracts in just about every state, which keeps the complex alive and well, is it wonder why paved roads need repaired every year instead of building roads out of 25 year concrete so that they can move on to better things which would actually improve this country…

I hesitated before posting that last one because Ender is right, it's just another aspect of the matrix, and I may be being tedious But the matrix has changed drastically since the 1950s. I would bet that no one in Ender's circle of friends works in a factory. It's just not a reality in most of the US these days.

Almost everyone works in The Matrix factory. The whole 9-5 BS is a con job to make us all slaves.

Yes, but you're missing his point. Americans were happier then, because so many of them built wonderful things with their own two hands. And they knew other people who built other wonderful things. They had pride of accomplishment, and the satisfaction of self-sufficiency.

They were an even bigger percentage of the population than those paid to meddle in the lives of others today, and those paid to do nothing combined.
