Or he is the fall guy and this will be the only prosecution. Everyone up the chain can claim that it was his false information that they were working from.

No, he has spilled the beans on those above him. His attorney went to the government asking to make a deal. They caught him red-handed. This is the first domino.

"He will be pleading guilty," Clinesmith's attorney Justin Shur told ABC News in a statement Friday. "Kevin deeply regrets having altered the email. It was never his intent to mislead the court or his colleagues as he believed the information he relayed was accurate. But Kevin understands what he did was wrong and accepts responsibility."

I hope that I am wrong, but I think it will go like this, because no big names will go down with this,...

They are going to go down, but it may not be the way we think or want. By losing their popular support and their link in the chain of power, that may be their sentence, ceasing to be important or useful to any organization or person. Many will suicide, seek self-exile, or remove themselves from public life thus removing their influence, which would still be a win for free people. We don't have to put these evil people behind bars in order to defeat them. I know it would be greatly satisfying to many to see all of these politicians pay for their crimes, it would, it's going to be tough for that to happen in the existing system that excuses corruption and punishes playing by the rules. The current system will first have to be altered or erased and replaced in it's entirety for this to happen.

I am happy to see any arrests and consider each one a win. I can't remember any significant arrests of government workers since ABSCAM and that was a long time ago. Criminals in our government need to be held accountable. I think Andy McCabe is realistic and he is a big name.

Kevin Clinesmith is the FBI attorney who admitted to modifying an email in filing to obtain a 4th FISA warrant against Carter Page. Here is the breakdown of the sentencing memorandum the government just submitted to the court.

Changed my mind, screw arresting these people. They need to be dragged out of their homes and tar and feathered, or thrown into a wood chipper.

    "Just Us" was done ...

    FTA (bold emphasis added):

U.S. District Judge for the District of Columbia James Boasberg on Friday during Clinesmith's sentencing hearing said Clinesmith had suffered by losing his job and standing in the eye of a media hurricane.

Boasberg gave him 12 months probation, 400 hours of community service, and no fine.

Government prosecutors had been asking for Clinesmith to spend several months in jail, but Clinesmith's defense had been advocating for probation only.

"[He] lost his job, and his government service is what has given his life much of its meaning," Boasberg said Friday. "He was also earning $150,000 a year and who knows where the earnings go now. He may be disbarred or suspended from the practice of law, you may never be able to work in the national security field again. These are substantial penalties."
