I didn't like all of the poll options, but I'm inclined to believe there is some truth there. Comet Ping Pong, Majestic Ape, all of the strange photos and comments were all discovered precisely because of some of the strange Podesta e-mails that appeared to be code speak.

I like to see how close to a critical mass this is getting. I for one can't seem to logically say that james alefantis might have pedo tendencies but that the buck stops there. There are just too much coincidences to be coincidences.

Undoubtedly, (and documentedly), there are pedophiles in power. But I spent way to much time looking at the pizzagate "evidence" and couldn't find myself very convinced. The biggest problem is that so much is being hung on interpreting the Podesta emails with retro-fitted "code words," which, absent a source or citations, are plumbed from the what-if musings of somebody reading the Wikileaks.

I suppose there are a few people rigorously researching the pizzagate stuff because they want to save some children from abuse. All of the people I've seen who are truly obsessed with it are more interested in incriminating libs (only Democrats are discussed) than saving kids.

And I fear that way too many of the pizzagate obsessives are hoping for the wrong reason that some really juicy vids will get posted.

Actually, the retro-fitting argument is untrue. It was those curious e-mails that led to the discovery of:

-Comet Ping Pong.
-James Alefantis' Instagrams containing children and comments with sexual innuendo (nothing he said was normal).
-Amanda Kleinman (a/k/a Majestic Ape) and the band Heavy Breathing, which contains lyrics and artwork with pedophile innuendo, not to mention the YouTube video in which he is at Comet Ping Pong.
-Portuguese police sketches that look similar to the Podesta brothers.
-Artwork in Tony Podesta's house that has pedophile innuendo and a sculpture that channels Jeffrey Dahmer crime scene photos.
-The use of pedophile symbols straight from an FBI unclassified document used by Comet Ping Pong, Besta Pizza, and Politics and Prose, all of which are within the same vicinity.
-Alefantis and Kleinman responding to the conspiracy theory by claiming to be the victims of white nationalism, anti-semitism, etc., but no reasonable explanation for their strange behavior.

I was skeptical at first, but there is a lot of smoke there, and everything discovered is outside the realm of normal, especially for people who are within the inner circle of government (or so one would presume). That said, some of the speculations can go off the rails, and I highly doubt most government officials are involved.

I would certainly like a reasonable explanation for what the following means:

-A handkerchief with a map that is pizza-related (WTF?).
-Whether it is easier to play dominoes on cheese or on pasta (WTF?).

Finally, the largest smoking gun: Many conversations about pizza, but not one argument about pizza toppings. I've never ordered a pizza with other people without having to spend ten minutes arguing and negotiating.

I am a big skeptic of many of the so-called "conspiracy theories" subscribed to on this forum. I think Adam Lanza shot 20 something kids at Sandy Hook and that Osama Bin Laden planned 9/11 in response to US foreign policy and radical ideology.

But I voted the 2nd option. I really think it's somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd, though. I think there is evidence of a fairly wide ranging group involved in something shady involving children. The pedophile logos at the pizza place and elsewhere, the BEYOND creepy paintings (though, not all the paintings have been confirmed to be connected to anyone), the videos from 2007 on youtube of people playing ping pong outside with the sound of children screaming...


One half my brain is telling me this is crazy. The other half sees it clearly. Humans are known to see patterns where there aren't any, but damn, it's REALLY fishy.

Quite right. The facts came from conspiracy sites such as WikiLeaks, John Podesta's e-mail, Reddit, Instagram photos with Alefanti's comments, YouTube videos of Heavy Breathing, the FBI's own documents describing common symbolism among pedophiles, Comet Ping Pong's own website with "Friends" section showing Heavy Breathing and their innuendo-laden content, etc.

To be fair, I might not have believed it myself if I didn't spend hours following the progression of everything, and seeing how the new discoveries unfolded.

Please tell us what playing dominoes on cheese or pasta means, or what a handkerchief with a map that appears to be pizza-related means. They're obviously not going to talk about raping kids via e-mail (I'll give the benefit of the doubt that they're not that stupid. Or how about James Alefantis' Instagram comments in which children were in the photos? None of those comments are normal for a grown man, heterosexual or homosexual. At the very least, I think it would be worth an actual investigation.

Well I think the mapping of the hivemind of rpf has taken place a bit. The story seems to be too damning and too coincidental to be written of as just a loose hypothesis. I think this should give us more confidence to start sharing it with others. You are unlikely to be viewed as the tinfoil hatter.

Obviously I made an error by not having an option "i do not quite know what to make of it' instead of throwing it in with don't care and conspiracy fatigue.

In the future it might be nice to start a thread with asking for input for poll options prior to setting up a poll. Just a thought.
