The number of Texas Democrats who have tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus after fleeing from Texas to D.C. to avoid voting on election integrity measures has increased to six.

Dozens of Democrat members of the Texas House of Representatives fled to Washington, DC, last week, effectively denying the Republican-majority chamber a quorum to pass voting laws. Leftists lavished the Democrat lawmakers with praise, describing them as “courageous public servants” who were sacrificing to “protect our democracy.”

Vice President Kamala Harris even likened them to forefathers who fought and died for the right to vote.

On Saturday, the Texas House Democratic Caucus leadership affirmed three unnamed members who fled the state tested positive for the coronavirus despite being fully vaccinated. That has now increased to six. That member is now self-isolating, Cara Santucci, the spokeswoman for the Texas House Democrats, confirmed.

“The House Democratic Caucus is following all CDC guidance and protocols,” House Democratic Caucus Chairman Chris Turner said in a statement on Saturday upon the news of the initial positive tests, counting it as a “sober reminder that COVID is still with us, and though vaccinations offer tremendous protection, we still must take necessary precautions.”

Turner added that the caucus would follow “all recommendations from public health experts.”

State Rep. Trey Martinez Fischer (D) is among those who have tested positive for the virus, he confirmed on Sunday. He is experiencing “extremely mild symptoms”:

Santucci added the delegation will “no longer release a daily Covid case count.”

“We’re focusing on our daily testing, following and going beyond CDC guidelines, social distancing, and wearing masks as much as possible. We’re just not going to release daily counts,” she said.

So many variables involved. It’s hard to come to any conclusions.

Perhaps that is why they claimed vaccines were 90% effective. That leaves 10% not effective.

But before vaccines, how many people exposed to COVID actually came down with symptoms? There were so many asymptotic cases, especially in people under 50. Was it 90% asymptomatic even before vaccines?

And then there is the ongoing question of what constitutes a “case”. A positive PCR test? What is the false positive rate on that? 10%? More? And is an asymptomatic person really a case?

It’s all politics and spin at this point. I don’t see how any scientific conclusions can come from this mess, except for the fact that vaccinated people can test positive and spread it.

Agreed, there's no "science" being done anymore, it's all just spin and propaganda and bull$#@! piling up so fast you need wings to stay above it.

But even as much as theye tried to squelch the information leaking out, there is enough to know that:

A-The "vaccines" are far from from universally effective. UK is reporting now half of all new COVID cases are in people that are vaxxed.

B-Even when fully vaxxed, you can contract and spread COVID.

C-There are quantifiable and significant risks, including death, associated with taking the vaccine.

All of this to supposedly fight a disease with an insignificant mortality rate, no matter whose numbers you believe, all add up to this:
