Bannon
“The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” Bannon said.
“We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency.
But that presidency is over.
It’ll be something else.
And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days,
but that presidency is over.”
“The Republican establishment has no interest in Trump’s success on this.
They’re not populists, they’re not nationalists, they had no interest in his program,” Bannon said on Friday.
“Zero.
It was a half-hearted attempt at Obamacare reform,
it was no interest really on the infrastructure,
they’ll do a very standard Republican version of taxes.”
“What Trump ran on–border wall, where is the funding for the border wall, one of his central tenets, where have they been?
Have they rallied around the Perdue-Cotton immigration bill?
On what element of Trump’s program, besides tax cuts
which is going to be the standard marginal tax cut...
where have they rallied to Trump’s cause?
They haven’t,” Bannon added.

Coulter: Bannon Firing ‘Not Good News’ — ‘Trump Should’ve Hired Ten More Like Him’
http://dailycaller.com/2017/08/18/co...more-like-him/
“Of course, Trump won the nomination and the presidency of his own will!
Bannon supported those issues and supported Trump at least as early as January 2016,” Coulter added.
“Who else in the White House did?
Most of the White House staff wasn’t on the Trump train until after the election.”
“Not good news.
Instead of firing Bannon,
because Trump had his nose out of joint about the media giving Bannon all credit for the victory,
Trump should’ve hired ten more like him.
Media heads would have exploded.”

Bannon hates Cohn especially.
https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017...er-white-house
“Bannon especially dislikes Gary Cohn,” one source said—and he’s ready to take revenge.
Tucker said that Bannon was the only thing holding Trump back from going full neocon...I always figured Bannon as a fake though, I sure hope Tucker is wrong.
Bannon said he would only stay for 8 months to a year. Everything is right on schedule.

of course the headline say she "predicted his own demise", I can't find the original article where he stated he would only stay for 8 months to a year. But he wasn't "predicting his own demise" when he said it.

[March 10, 2014]
Appearing on state-owned Russia Today, failed three time GOP presidential candidate and former Congressman Ron Paul accused the United States of seeking to profit from the crisis in Ukraine as a way to assist American ’empire building’ and to promote the interests ‘global bankers’.
Paul praised President Obama for having the “strength and courage” to so far resist the pressure being applied on him by America’s “military industrial complex.”
Paul averred that for the US “to be lecturing anyone about violating sovereignty”, after we “violated the sovereignty of Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, North Africa, Pakistan’s sovereignty” was of a piece with America’s “interventionist compulsion to be constantly involved in expanding America’s empire.
He said of his countrymen: "Americans always want their hands in things," because, "they have an empire to build."

[May 18, 2013]
On Monday, former Rep. Ron Paul claimed Benghazi is the result of American “interventionism” and asserted that therefore neither Republicans nor Democrats are getting it right when they seek to explain the causes of the attacks.
Sounding a lot like President Obama, Paul contends that Republicans are failing to grasp the real lesson of Benghazi because they’re pursuing the investigation out of “political opportunity.” He said Democrats are failing because they’ve offered a “less than convincing explanation for Benghazi.”
He also wrote that Democrat attempts to blame Benghazi on Republican-led budget cuts are “hard to take… seriously.”
Ultimately, Paul says the real reason behind Benghazi is American interventionism–a tired accusation from a politician who has been labeled as a “blame America first Republican.”

There is no more time for games, no room for hurt feelings. Ron Paul fans, you need to choose, because not voting for Romney is a vote for Obama. It’s that simple. And you could make the difference.
Maybe Romney isn’t the uncompromising Ayn Rand hero you’d design if you could build your ideal candidate from scratch, but he’s a lot better than the guy on whose watch this happened:
Making no choice in this election is a choice – it’s a choice for a collectivist who will get two or three Supreme Court picks over a man who picked a guy, Paul Ryan, who understands capitalism and its unbreakable link to human freedom.

Trump has always done what Trump wanted to do. Bannon leaving may not actually change much- though I am not sad to see him leave. As for troop levels, Trump long ago said his generals would get to decide how many troops would be sent to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Trump hands to Pentagon troop level decisions on Afghanistan
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump's decision to allow his Pentagon chief to set U.S. troop levels in Afghanistan won't mean an immediate infusion of troops but should improve management of the war effort, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Wednesday. Still missing: an overall Trump strategy for America's longest conflict.
"I will set the U.S. military commitment, consistent with the commander in chief's strategic direction," Mattis told a Senate panel, announcing a break with past White House control over troop numbers.
Mattis made the announcement a day after being verbally hammered by Sen. John McCain, the Senate Armed Services Committee's Republican chairman, for the administration's failure to present an overarching strategy for Afghanistan. McCain said the U.S. is "not winning" in Afghanistan. Mattis agreed.
Forced from power after U.S. troops invaded in October 2001, the Taliban have been resurgent, increasing their hold on numerous areas of the country and inflicting heavy losses of Afghan security forces.
The U.S. has about 8,400 troops in Afghanistan, a cap set by President Barack Obama's White House, which closely controlled troop numbers in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria in a manner similar to the way the Bush administration handled such matters. Trump's decision to delegate that authority to Mattis reflects the president's view that wars are better managed by the Pentagon; he previously provided Mattis leeway to determine how many U.S. troops are in Syria and Iraq.

Also, since no legitimate Ron Paul supporters can be a part of AntiFa or Alt-Right, we should start a movement to piggyback on their popularity. We'll call it AntiFe in honor of @Anti Federalist

Mr. Bannon fed Mr. Trump’s paranoid streak and shared the president’s penchant for believing in conspiracies. He viewed not just intelligence agencies but most of government as stocked with a devious bureaucratic underbelly, the “deep state.” Mr. Trump, who has never worked in government, eagerly adopted that view.
No. All he said about that was the broken men after WW II.
Arnold said about Hitler: “I admired Hitler, for instance, because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education, up to power.”
His explanation for the later denial: “Coming up with outrageous things to say was easy because I was always thinking them to keep myself entertained,” he writes.
I am not buying it. My observation is that Arnold is a shallow person who cares little about the world around him. He reminds me of George Bush Jr. in that regard. Arnold was definitely entertaining himself with all kinds of things, but I'd say he also held the view.
The quote is hardly even the worst thing in the world. Big deal. He could have just said he was influenced by his father and his now (supposed) repudiation of Hitler is because he learned something over the years. This guy is very superficial.
