    Biden's "Climate Advisor" celebrates loss of fossil fuel jobs

    @Snowball

    That's why you're paying $500 a month to heat your house, and every shipload of cheap Chinese $#@! for the Wal Marx is costing more.

    Meanwhile Europe is scrambling to bring coal fired power stations back online, as Russia turns off the natural gas supply in response to Western sanctions.

    Without the ability and the technology to store tera-watts of reserve power for times when the wind does not blow and the sun isn't shining, large scale wind and solar power projects are a fantasy, being pressed onto the American people to deliberately lower their standard of living and economic success by Marxist ghouls like this broad.

    At which point will Americans realize that creating an unaccountable institution that is able to pass its liability on to tax-payers is immoral and attracts sociopaths?

    Both parties are corrupt. The Dems invested heavily in marijuana and green power. The GOP invests heavily in oil and gas, and advocates shipping it to China and Europe while both agree on important matters, like Russia = Satan, and Israel/Saudis = Jesus.

    US natural gas plummets as Freeport LNG outage expected to last until year end
    A fire at the Freeport LNG export terminal last week cut volumes for the US's largest export facility, with the outage at that time expected to last "at least three weeks."
    Tuesday, Freeport LNG released a statement*indicating that "at this time, completion of all necessary repairs and a return to full plant operations is not expected until late 2022. Given the relatively contained area of the facility physically impacted by the incident, a resumption of partial operations is targeted to be achieved in approximately 90 days."
    Natural gas prices (NG1:COM) fell ~15% following the release, and trading of the United States Natural Gas ETF (UNG) was halted.
    What is clearly bad news for US natural gas producers, is also bad news for those with LNG offtake from the facility, including BP (BP) and Total (TTE).
    Reduced LNG exports should be a tailwind for domestic European producers like Equinor (EQNR), NRT (NRT) and Vermillion (VET), as well as seaborne coal producers like Peabody (BTU).

    This is partially why Natural Gas prices have dropped from $9.55 a MMBtu to $5.66 MMBtu in the last 3 weeks. Is it showing up in your heating bills yet? It probably won’t. Companies have locked in prices well in advance but at some point it will come down.

    Edited to add: since we cannot export LNG at the rate we were, production has not slowed down. Causing a excess in reserves which is driving the price down.

    Few thinks tick me off more then arguing with some TikTok educated gen-z dweeb about how "Biden really did do that" with regards to fuel prices. You can't cheer on the destruction of the U.S. fossil fuel industry and then blame them for high gas prices if you are both intelligence and honest.
