Rand Paul aide joins Trump campaign, RNC fundraising group

Sergio Gor, a longtime communications aide and deputy chief of staff to Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), is joining a finance arm for President Trump's reelection campaign and the national Republican Party.
Gor, who has worked for Paul since 2013, will serve as chief of staff for the Trump Victory Finance Committee, a joint fundraising committee for Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee.
The GOP aide announced the move on Twitter:

“After almost 8 years on my staff, Sergio has joined President Trump’s campaign. I wish him all the best and look forward to working with him to re-elect President Trump and in the future,” Paul said in a statement to The Hill.

I'm more inclined to think it's so Trump campaign and GOP can work on how to extract money out of Paulites. Perhaps it may translate to helping Rand at a later date but that's not why it's happening now.

Also, keeping your people behind the political frenemy lines is getting increasingly popular strategy. If a Trump can hold fund raiser for progressive Dem Cory Booker and a Senior Trump White House advisor/anti-nepotism activist can have ties with socialist Soros (allegedly) , why can't a Rand aide be on same side as Netayahu-Republicans and raise funds for same pool that respected globalist Sheldon Adelson has been funding?
