Vindman Twins FIRED - Escorted out of White House by Security

    Fri, 02/07/2020 - 15:58 https://www.zerohedge.com/political/...ut-white-house
Anti-Trump impeachment witness Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and his twin brother have been fired and escorted out of the White House by security, according to his Alexander Vindman's attorney.

Vindman, a Ukraine specialist who sat on the National Security Counsel who was accused of being coached by House Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA), was present on a July 25 phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky, when the US president asked that Ukraine investigate former VP Joe Biden and his son Hunter, as well as claims of pro-Clinton meddling in the 2016 US election.

He was also notably counseling Ukraine on how to counter President Trump's foreign policy according to the New York Times, which led some to go as far as accuse him of being a double agent.

The now-former White House employee, who admitted to violating the chain of command when he reported his concerns over the call, had been rumored to be on the chopping block for much of Friday...

So if this guy had been employed at Apple, worked with law enforcement to find charges and prosecute the Apple CEO, and provided consulting to Samsung on how to compete with Apple, should he be fired?

Trump warns on impeachment payback: 'You'll see'

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Friday that his impeachment should be invalidated, and he gave an ominous warning when asked how he'll pay back those responsible, saying, "You'll see."

“Should they expunge the impeachment in the House? They should because it was a hoax,” Trump told reporters at the White House before departing on Marine One.

When asked about his press secretary's comments that the president was suggesting in his remarks Thursday on impeachment that his Democratic political opponents "should be held accountable," Trump said, "Well, you'll see. I mean, we'll see what happens."

Trump showed little sign of wanting to mend fences with the Democrats, saying they suffer from “Trump derangement syndrome" and that there is "a lot of evil on that side.” When asked how he was going to unify the country following his divisive impeachment, Trump said he would do it by “great success.”

He left open the possibility that the White House will dismiss Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, after he testified in Trump’s impeachment inquiry. Bloomberg News has reported that Vindman's removal was under consideration.

"Well, I'm not happy with him. Do you think I'm supposed to be happy with him? I'm not," Trump said, adding, "They'll make that decision. You'll be hearing — they'll make a decision."

When asked if he considers the front-runners in the Democratic presidential primary a threat, Trump said,Everybody's a threat. I view everybody as a threat.” But the president passed up the opportunity to attack any specific candidate, instead mocking Democrats for their delay in tabulating the results from the Iowa caucuses.

Meanwhile Democrats are notorious for massive purges whenever they get elected. Clinton, Obama, too many examples to name.

    Here’s a recent local example:

San Francisco’s Radical New Leftist D.A. Fires Seven Tough-on-Crime Attorneys

In his first two days on the job, San Francisco’s new district attorney, Chesa Boudin, fired seven traditionally tough-on-crime prosecutors, keeping his campaign promise to promote a “different version of justice” and reduce the prosecution of “quality-of-life crimes.”

“I had to make difficult staffing decisions today in order to put in place a management team that will help me accomplish the work I committed to do for San Francisco,” Boudin said in a statement to KPIX-TV.

Mike Swart was one of the prosecutors fired after 10 years as an attorney in the San Francisco D.A.’s homicide unit.

Swart had helped bring to justice Pearla Ann Louis’s murderer after he killed her and stuffed her in a suitcase.

Louis’s daughter told NBC San Francisco that she was “appalled” by Boudin’s decision to fire Swart.

“This is a blow to the judicial system,” Ayesha Louis said.

Linda Allen, managing attorney, and Ana Gonzalez, head of the D.A. office’s gang unit, were also fired, along with four other trial attorneys.

“What’s strange is that these people aren’t being moved, they’re not being demoted, they’re being fired and they’re being told that essentially their services have no use in the office anymore,” Tony Brass, a former assistant D.A. in the city.

Boudin, who was endorsed by Bernie Sanders, said after he was elected that San Francisco clearly wants “radical” and revolutionary change.

The problem with the above article is that there really were “no tough on crime” employees. This was a Marxist-Leninist firing everyday Democrats.

Trump is surrounded by weasels, there are actually very little people he can trust in the WH.

Bannon shouldn't have left whether he resigned or got fired. If I remember correctly, he went to war with the pro-China contingent in the WH and lost.

Trump Fired Ambassador Gordon Sondland too

    More! More!
    Trump Fires Ambassador Gordon Sondland
    By Chuck Ross
    February 07, 2020 7:25 PM ET

President Donald Trump on Friday fired Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, just hours after firing Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the National Security Council official who testified at House impeachment proceedings against the commander-in-chief.

Like Vindman, Sondland testified at the impeachment proceedings.

“I was advised today that the president intends to recall me effective immediately as United States Ambassador to the European Union,” Sondland said in a statement, according to The New York Times.

The dual firings came days after Trump was acquitted in the Senate on charges that he abused his power by exerting pressure on Ukraine to open up politically charged investigations.

Vindman was escorted out of the White House when he was fired Friday. (RELATED: Lt. Col. Vindman Fired, Escorted From White House Grounds)

Both Sondland and Vindman testified about interactions they had in spring and summer 2019 regarding the Trump administration’s policy toward Ukraine.

Sondland, who was a major GOP donor before being chosen as ambassador, testified about his collaboration with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Kurt Volker, the special envoy to Ukraine, to set up phone calls and meetings between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Sondland told the House Intelligence Committee on Nov. 20, 2019, that he believed Giuliani’s requests to Ukrainian officials to open up Biden-related investigations were a quid pro quo in exchange for a White House meeting between Trump and Zelensky.

He also said he came to believe Trump was withholding military aid to Ukraine in exchange for a Biden probe, though he acknowledged he was never explicitly told by Trump or anyone else that the aid was linked to the Bidens.

Vindman, who is Ukrainian-American, testified Nov. 19, 2019, that he was “deeply troubled” by Trump’s actions toward Ukraine.

Two down and 5 million to go would be a good start. Going to have to kill a lot of trees to print pink slips for the pruning back the overgrowth of bureaucracy.

    To quote Eisenhower's farewell speech.

The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded. Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific/technological elite.

President Trump is making good on his promises to “drain the swamp” and cut Obama-era holdovers from his staffs, especially the critical and recently controversial National Security Council.
Officials confirmed that Trump and national security adviser Robert O’Brien have cut 70 positions inherited from former President Barack Obama, who had fattened the staff to 200.
Many were loaners from other agencies and have been sent back. Others left government work.
