The official news agency of the self-styled Islamic State claimed Monday that it forces shot down an American warplane, a claim the U.S. military quickly dismissed.
“The crew of the U.S. warplane that was shot down by Islamic State fighters near Ayn Asad Airbase is dead,” read a statement by the Amaq news agency.
The Islamic State claim did not specify whether the air crew was killed in the crash or captured alive and executed.
However, the U.S. military quickly rebutted the claim as false.
“There is no truth to reports of ISIL downing a U.S. aircraft near Anbar. All U.S. & Coalition aircraft accounted for at this time,” the U.S. Central Command posted on Twitter.
U.S. airplanes have been flying over the Islamic State’s “caliphate” in western Iraq and eastern Syria in support of a recent offensive by the Iraqi government

In the propaganda wars I'm going to go ahead and say ISIS is lying.
"I know the urge to arm yourself, because that’s what I did. I was trained in firearms. When I walked to the hospital when my husband was sick, I carried a concealed weapon. I made the determination that if somebody was going to try to take me out I was going to take them with me."

Didn't you post something about being ready to go in Benghazi and you were told to stand down?

Yup, but remember to think about this....if ISIS did shoot down an American military fixed wing they would need capabilities that go way beyond third world army. It would be feasable as another poster for them to get a helicopter BUT if they did why would that get covered up?

That would be a great way to beat the war drums to invade more countries while lining the coffers of the MIC.

    We already gave them that.
They are fully capable of downing aircraft on attack runs.. both conventional AA and whatever they have acquired since they captured several US military bases.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Because the weapon capable of that was given to them by Saudi Arabia and we can't have bad things said about Saudi Arabia? Not saying that is what happened. But if ISIS were ever able to get their hands on that kind of weapon, who would be the likely suspect that provided that weapon to them.
A sense of danger gives birth to fear. And fear is the time-honored cross for the crucifixion of liberty.
